Chapter 36: Chapter 36 ’Big Brother’ Arrives (Revised) After Revision:

"Report!" A loud voice rang out, drawing Bi Yuan’s attention as he looked up. In the first row, a chubby kid was laughing maliciously. "Teacher, I know why Bi Yuan wrote about his brother instead of his parents!"

"Why?"

Bi Yuan’s instincts told him something was wrong, and sure enough, he heard the kid say, "Teacher, my mom said Bi Yuan doesn’t have a dad!"

"His dad ran off with another woman and abandoned him," the kid pointed his chubby finger at Bi Yuan, "so Bi Yuan is a child without a dad!"

"And his mom is a jinx; because of his mom, his dad ran away!"

"Wang Pangdun!" Bi Yuan was furious. He clenched his fists, mimicking the way Bi Xia protected him before, his eyes half-closed, a chill emanating from them. "I dare you to say that again!"

Wang Pangdun had long been envious of Bi Yuan’s popularity with the girls. So he straightened his back and said, "Why wouldn’t I dare! I said your dad abandoned you, your mom is a jinx, and your brother is... Ah!!!"

Bi Yuan flung his notebook at Wang Pangdun’s face and then lunged at Wang Pangdun’s desk, grabbing his collar and throwing a punch.

"I won’t let you insult my mom!" Bi Yuan’s little face was icy as he crashed Wang Pangdun into the desk, "And you definitely can’t slander my brother!!!"

Wang Pangdun let out a scream. Being fatter than Bi Yuan, he flipped the desk over, crushing Bi Yuan beneath it, and started hitting Bi Yuan repeatedly. "I’ll say it! I’ll say it!"

Bi Yuan seemed to go mad. He bit Wang Pangdun’s arm, causing Wang Pangdun to fall to the ground. He picked up the scattered textbooks and struck Wang Pangdun ferociously, making Wang Pangdun cry and scream.

Everything happened so quickly that no one had time to react. By the time the homeroom teacher realized, the two were already grappling. The teacher rushed forward and grabbed the two of them, one in each hand, his face dark as iron. "Come to the office later, and call your parents!"

The first to arrive were Wang Pangdun’s parents. Who would have thought they wouldn’t go to the office but burst straight into the classroom? As soon as she entered, Wang Pangdun’s mother began wailing and causing a scene, holding Wang Pangdun.

Wang Pangdun’s father stood there in the classroom, looking aggressive. "Who beat up my son like this! Teacher, how do you supervise the kids!"

The homeroom teacher didn’t expect two of them to show up at once, both seeming troublesome. He said helplessly, "Mr. Wang Letian, please calm down. This situation isn’t entirely Bi Yuan’s fault."

"Bi Yuan?!" Wang Pangdun’s mother turned and looked at Bi Yuan, who stood on the other side with a cold face and lowered head. She pointed at Bi Yuan and started cursing, "So it’s you, you little brat!"

Bi Yuan showed no expression: ...Oh, so it’s me, the little brat.

"Do you have any morals? Who gave you the right to hit my child!"

Bi Yuan rolled his eyes: Your child is as fat as a pig; it’s hard to hit him.

Listening to Wang Pangdun’s mom cursing at him, Bi Yuan remained indifferent, though anger welled within him. Why couldn’t he endure it? What if his mom got hurt when she came back? Bi Xia’s words... Bi Xia probably wouldn’t come, right...

Thinking of this, Bi Yuan felt a bit lost, but after a moment, he was somewhat relieved. It’s good if Bi Xia doesn’t come; then Bi Xia wouldn’t know he fought and wouldn’t hate him.

Maybe feeling somewhat dry-mouthed from all the cursing, Wang Pangdun’s mom took a breath and then rolled her eyes at Bi Yuan disdainfully. "No wonder kids with dads and kids without dads are naturally different!"

Bi Yuan abruptly looked up, his eyes fierce, scaring Wang Pangdun’s mom. When she came to her senses, she exploded. "Hey! Look at those eyes! Truly a kid born of a mom without a dad to raise him!"

"Old hag, try insulting Bi Xiaoyuan one more time!" A voice, cold as ice but indifferent, rang out at the chaotic classroom door.

There stood a black-haired teenager, leaning against the door frame. He had a black backpack slung over one shoulder, his delicate and handsome face cold.

The teenager straightened up slowly and approached Bi Yuan amidst the startled and delighted gazes. He extended a long arm and pulled Bi Yuan in front of him, his star-like eyes fiercely glaring at Wang Pangdun’s parents. "Do you think Bi Yuan is an easy target?"
