Chapter 51 - 51: Shopaholic Harry Hunter
Star Region Mall is the top luxury shopping center in A City, specifically targeted at wealthy individuals. With lavish decorations and attentive service, it offers every possible luxury, attracting countless celebrities who come here for shopping sprees.
Isabella Weaver had just walked in when she noticed a minor celebrity leisurely strolling through the mall with an assistant. It seemed that others were so accustomed to seeing celebrities that they glanced at this one and continued shopping.
The minor celebrity seemed slightly disappointed as no one approached her for an autograph.
Harry Hunter, seemingly unaware of the celebrity nearby, led Isabella Weaver from one store to another, emerging with several shopping bags in hand.
Connor had somehow made his way to the mall, took the shopping bags from Harry Hunter, and cheerfully greeted, "Young Master," before saying hello to Isabella Weaver: "Miss Weaver, nice to see you again! Buy more, my Young Master has more money than he can spend."
Isabella Weaver still felt slightly uneasy about his smile and didn't agree with his words—because Harry Hunter was shopping excessively!
As soon as they entered a store, he didn't even glance at the prices. After a quick scan, he asked the saleswoman to pack all of the displayed items for him.
In just this short time, the clothes he bought were enough for her to wear for an entire year!
"Connor, try persuading your Young Master to stop shopping; it's already more than enough."
Connor laughed, "Miss Weaver, you're the first one trying to save money for my Young Master. You truly are suited for domestic life; our Young Master has a great eye!"
Isabella Weaver was somewhat helpless. While he was good at complimenting people, she wasn't looking for praise; she wanted him to persuade Harry Hunter.
The way he's shopping, is he planning to buy out the whole mall?
She had just tried to persuade Harry Hunter, but he didn't listen at all, and instead complained about buying too little.
The three of them entered a shoe store, and after asking Isabella Weaver's shoe size, Harry Hunter said, "I'll take them all. Connor, go pay."
Isabella Weaver was shocked and numb from his extravagance, whereas the shop assistants were stunned for a while, proving that even though they were surrounded by luxury goods daily, they had never seen anyone spend this much.
Only Connor seemed completely accustomed, smiling as he swiped the card and then made a call to have someone transport the shoes and clothes back home.
As they left the shoe store, Isabella Weaver refused to move forward: "Mr. Hunter, that's enough, let's go!"
The clothes and shoes he just bought could have gotten her two Range Rovers!
This level of extravagance was simply unheard of!
Harry Hunter, seeing her slightly pained expression, couldn't help but walk up to her, ruffling her hair: "Come on, let's buy a bit more. You can exchange them as you wish."
Isabella Weaver dodged his hand and gently shook her head: "It's too much."
Harry Hunter looked at her and smiled softly.
Connor was right, Isabella Weaver indeed was the first to feel distressed over his spending. Others, whether men or women, thought his lavish spending was expected, and he himself had once thought the same.
Being cared for in this way felt pretty good, so Harry Hunter made a concession: "Alright, no more shopping then."
Just as the two were about to leave, they were approached by a familiar figure to Isabella Weaver—it was Ella Weaver.
"Isabella, so you're rich now, huh? Not only driving a Range Rover but also shopping at Star Region!"
Ella Weaver's tone carried a hint of sarcasm, flanked by two friends dressed in designer outfits, wearing expressions of arrogance. The gaze of the trio completely ignored Isabella Weaver, focusing entirely on Harry Hunter.
With their astute eyes, they immediately identified Harry Hunter's background as undoubtedly either wealthy or noble.
