Ji Kaisui had stayed in her room, watching Su Sumei bustling about.

After she had made herself look elegant and graceful, carrying bird’s nest soup as if nothing was amiss, Ji Kaisui sank into the sofa, feeling increasingly upset.

She had originally thought Ji Weitian was just a daughter raised by common folks and definitely wouldn’t know the etiquette of high society. With a contract worker’s salary, Ji Weitian probably didn’t even have a decent dress to show off.

This was the perfect opportunity for her to shine in front of everyone.

As the saying goes, "Comparing people reveals the highs and lows."

But now, not only could she not suppress Ji Weitian, she had become a stepping stone for Ji Weitian!

Ji Kaisui’s phone rang.

It was a call from her close girlfriend, "Suisui, breaking news, guess who I just ran into at the mall? The An Family’s eldest son! He was picking out a suit, apparently for a banquet he’s attending tonight..."

What the person on the other end continued to say, Ji Kaisui could no longer focus.

A single thought occupied her mind: the opportunity she had painstakingly created must not be ruined by Ji Weitian!

Ji Kaisui bolted upright from the sofa, hung up the phone, and marched out, only to run into the butler. She immediately asked, "Where’s Ji Weitian?"

The butler replied, "Miss is resting in her room, I was just about to call her, as President Ji arranged for a stylist to come."

Ji Weitian has a stylist too?

Ji Kaisui felt even more disgruntled, considering all the banquets she had attended, when had father ever arranged a stylist for her?

As soon as it came to Ji Weitian, it was as if father couldn’t wait to arrange everything for her.

"Just right, I need to get styled too, I’ll come with you to call Sister," Ji Kaisui said through gritted teeth.

Seeing her uneasy expression, the butler hesitated, wanting to say something, but Ji Kaisui had already stepped ahead to Ji Weitian’s room.

After the butler explained the purpose of their visit to Ji Weitian, Ji Kaisui chimed in, "Sister, you haven’t been home for a long time and might not be familiar with the house, the villa is quite big, let me take you there, get your makeup done first, then come back to change."

"No need, I’ll change into my gown first," Ji Weitian said, and Ji Kaisui’s face changed.

She had originally planned to sabotage Ji Weitian’s dress while she was away.

Now that her plan had fallen through, she could only watch helplessly as Ji Weitian changed into her gown and stepped into diamond-studded heels, walking past her like a noble swan...

Furious, she clenched her fists but had no choice but to follow, waiting for an opportunity.

The two arrived at the dressing room where the stylist was already waiting.

As soon as Ji Weitian appeared, the stylist couldn’t stop praising her figure, demeanor, and skin... making Ji Kaisui uneasy.

"Miss, Second Miss, would you like something to drink?" the butler asked respectfully.

Ji Kaisui’s eyes lit up!

"Yes, I’ll have a glass of blueberry juice, the thicker the better. Also, please prepare some drinks for the stylist and his assistant, maybe orange juice, and several glasses if you can!"

Ji Weitian turned her head to look at her and lightly parted her lips, "Just a glass of water for me."

The butler quickly returned with a tray, just about to hand the water to Ji Weitian, who was closer, but Ji Kaisui had already stood up from her chair, "Butler, let me help you."

Then she deliberately bumped into the butler’s tray!
