Chapter 282: Chapter 282: Movie Star Online!
Slowly opening his eyes, it seemed there was no major issue, just a lack of energy.
Ji Weitian wanted to pour him a glass of water, but Qin Nanyu held her hand and wouldn’t let go, so the butler ended up doing it.
"Young Master Yu, how are you feeling now?" The butler approached with the water glass.
Unconsciously, Ji Weitian stepped aside, making way for the butler, and stood a bit farther from Qin Nanyu.
Qin Nanyu’s brows immediately furrowed, and he shot a glare at the butler.
The butler, perplexed at why he’d be glared at while caring for his own young master, quickly left after placing the water glass.
"Thirsty." As soon as the butler left, Qin Nanyu pursed his lips, his gaze lingering on Ji Weitian who hadn’t come forward.
Ji Weitian paused, seeing him looking so ill and piteous, she could no longer hold onto her grievances and picked up the water glass from the bedside, carefully helping him drink.
Noticing his complexion was still a bit pale, she reached out to touch his forehead.
She asked the same question the butler had asked, "Do you still feel uncomfortable?"
"A bit dizzy," Qin Nanyu didn’t take the glass himself, but drank from Ji Weitian’s hand, then leaned back against the headboard.
Weak like a baby.
After complaining of thirst, and seeing Ji Weitian call the doctor to check on him, he flickered a glance again, then started to complain of hunger.
"I don’t know how to cook, should I ask the butler to make something for you to eat?"
Ji Weitian, unsuspecting, turned around to find the butler who had just left.
In the bedroom, only Qin Nanyu and the family doctor remained.
Watching Ji Weitian’s retreating figure, the doctor cautiously shut the door, turned back towards Qin Nanyu, and hinted, "Young Master Yu, rest assured, your health is good, there are no illnesses or disasters, just some discomfort from irregular eating habits. Just be a little careful in the future."
"If hypoglycemia becomes severe, how serious can it be?" Qin Nanyu, as if he hadn’t heard the doctor’s words, abruptly asked.
"Ah?" The doctor paused, instinctively answering.
"It can be quite severe, especially if you faint and no one notices—you could easily meet with a fatal accident."
"So, you mean, for safety, I shouldn’t be alone tonight, it would be better to have someone stay and look after me, right?" Qin Nanyu slowly spoke.
"That would be ideal," the doctor nodded in agreement, then paused, "But Young Master Yu, you’re not really hypoglycemic..."
His unfinished words were met with a stare from Qin Nanyu.
His somewhat slow wits suddenly clicked together.
By the time Ji Weitian returned to the room, the doctor had already started packing up to leave.
Before leaving, he specifically came over to her to advise.
"Miss Ji, hypoglycemia can be minor or serious. Although Young Master Yu is alright for now, you mustn’t be careless. Tonight you might need to stay and take care of him, and if anything seems off, contact me anytime."
"Me?" Ji Weitian, feeling a sudden thrust of responsibility, was bewildered.
Just as she was about to protest that Qin Nanyu’s illness had nothing to do with her, the doctor had already handed her a business card and a list of instructions for patient care.
Turning, he walked away with his medical bag.
"No wait... Doctor, wait a moment..." Ji Weitian rushed to the door, only managing to see the doctor swiftly leaving, as if fleeing disaster.
To those unaware, it might seem he was being chased by a deluge or fierce beast.
Ji Weitian’s lips twitched, and she looked down to open the care instructions the doctor had left.
The next second, she was stunned—
