Jiang Mian didn’t return to her dormitory after dinner and decided to wander around the simulated base set up by the program team.

A one-to-one recreation; since she never visited Fu Sichen’s real troops, checking out the simulated one was also okay.

"Captain Fu, we should still have the medic come take a look. You have training tomorrow," came a familiar voice around the corner, causing Jiang Mian to frown slightly as she walked over.

"No need, it’s just a small injury, I can handle it myself."

Lin Chuan hesitated, but due to the commands from above, he agreed, "If Captain Fu needs anything, just let us know immediately."

He had just turned around and nearly bumped into Jiang Mian: "Jiang Mian?"

The familiar name caught Fu Sichen’s attention, and the two of them locked eyes without saying a word.

She had learned some wound-treating methods in college, and given the uncertainty of the injury and the potential adhesion of the fabric to the wound, Jiang Mian had to deal with the clothing first.

The shredded fabric fell away, revealing the well-defined arm, and Jiang Mian suddenly didn’t know what to do.
