In a dark hall, the floor boards were as smooth as glass, as though they were crafted from the shiniest obsidian, refracting the dim light into all corners. The hall was empty with the exception of some strange runes carved into the surface of the glass like floor. These runes continued to wriggle incessantly, as though it was alive.

Ominous whispers echoed through the halls.

At this point streams of light emerged from the runes on the ground. It then converged into three locations before the light dissipated, leaving behind three giant black eggs that emanated fluctuations of corruption. Kacha!

Cracks rapidly spread across the surface of the egg, as a black liquid leaked out.

Something then emerged from the egg.

On the right appeared a burly and well built male who resembled a tower. His body was plastered with strange tattoos that wriggled in his flesh and blood. His two palms were abnormally large, resembling the claws of a ghost, whilst the fingertips were pitch black as they glinted coldly with sharpness. On the left was a skinny individual dressed in dark golden clothes. His skin was riddled with gray cracks which made him look like a piece of porcelain on the verge of shattering, but at the same time he gave off an unsettling feeling. If Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e were here, they would instantly recognize that individual as Shen Jinxiao! However the current him had undergone a transformation. Most evidently, in between his brows was an onyx mark with a slight crack and if one were to peer more deeply, they would notice that a beating black heart could be found within. Between the two was a slender figure and her enchanting body was covered with fine black snake scales, like a tightly fitted suit of snake scale armor. Perhaps because it was fit too closely that her charming curves were revealed and when combined with her graceful waist, reminded one of a snake in human form, giving off an enthralling aura. The scales were located along the length of her body before merging into slightly pale skin.

When she raised her hand, her seductive features glowed with an unfathomable luster against the dim lighting of the hall, giving off both a creepy but also alluring charm that could suck any one into it. She was like the most luscious but poisonous fruit in the world. Whilst it was frightening to look at, one couldn't help but to wonder how it would taste? She was Li Lingjing. After not having been seen for a while, the aura that emanated from her body was no longer the same.

Perhaps she had already sunken into the darkness. These three figures had appeared within the black hall with nary a word. It was only a while later when a dark green flame materialized, slowly expanding into a figure of flame. This humanoid flame figure's appearance could not be seen clearly but a powerful pressure emanated from it, causing the trio's gaze to condense as they looked at it.

This was because they knew who this was.

Amongst the Thirteen Underworld Kings, this was the third ranked Demonic Flame Underworld King. "It looks like only the three of you have survived after absorbing the Ultimate Devil Corruption Seed." An aloof voice came from the figure. Over the last hundred years, the Origin Reversion Institute has created seven Ultimate Devil Corruption Seeds. The trio in front were the only survivors as the other four had been destroyed by the backlash.

"Not bad. This rate of success is much higher than before." Clearly the Demonic Flame Underworld King was still pleased at this result. The Ultimate Devil Corruption Seed was one of the secret arts of the Origin Reversion Institute which they had obtained from the Sacred Void Resonance Sect but modified by a Heavenly Emperor. It had a similar function to the Sacred Seeds belonging to Heavenly Emperor powers but the backlash was much more severe. It was rare for one to live through the process and even rarer for one to completely assimilate it within the span of a hundred years. Whether the three here could eventually reach the King stage would also depend on their abilities. "The Academic Federation and the Origin Reversion Institute have gone to war against each other. Our four Heavenly Emperors and the Academic Federation's five are confronting each other in the depths of the void. However our arrangements made in the outer divine continent these years have also been discovered and are being uprooted one by one. That said, they've bitten off more than they can chew as the Other Disasters in the outer divine continent have proliferated quietly for years, becoming a force to be reckoned with. If the Academic Federation wishes to eliminate it, they would only sink deeper into this quagmire. Furthermore Other Kings have also descended, exhausting their own Kings." The Demonic Flame Underworld King's indifferent words boomed. On the other hand, the three figures had flickering gazes. It seemed that whilst they were secluded away, things had already started and reached a whole new level of intensity.

"After which I have a mission for the three of you. Head to the East Divine Continent, to a location known as the Xia Kingdom. It's currently under the responsibility of the Saturnine Hydra Devil King. That is also a critical location for the Origin Reversion Institute's upcoming plans."

When the Demonic Flame Underworld King said this, Shen Jinxiao revealed a look of surprise as he respectfully spoke up. "The Xia Kingdom is a wasteland. What could be so important about it sire?"

The Other Disaster had been incited by Shen Jinxiao's actions in the past but he had always assumed this was just another one of the Origin Reversion Institute's distractions. After all, this happened commonly across the outer divine continents. However it was clear that the Xia Kingdom was part of a much bigger plan. It had far surpassed his expectations.

The Demonic Flame Underworld King could be considered to be more patient as he looked at the three who had successfully absorbed the Ultimate Devil Corruption Seed, "Although the land is barren, it also possesses its own mysterious treasures. Otherwise why would the Saturnine Hydra Devil King, a peak Triple Crowned King, spend so many years there spreading his corruption and polluting the area? To be more precise, a Genesis Seed from ancient times has been sealed there. The Origin Reversion Institute had searched for him for years but it wasn't until Heavenly Emperor Yin had personally taken action to look that we found traces of him."

Shen Jinxiao and Li Lingjing's eyes fluctuated with their thoughts. "A Genesis Seed sealed from ancient times? Could a Heavenly Emperor even survive the long passage of time?"

"From what Heavenly Emperor Yin has said, this individual was from the Sacred Void Resonance Sect's final generation of the Void Resonance's Six Sons. He possessed a Genesis Seed and somehow survived the annihilation of the Sacred Void Resonance Sect. After which he sealed himself away, enduring the erosion of time. He had a high standing within the sect, being known as the Pill Saint. Many of the top elixirs and pills were concocted by him, including the Absolute Resonance Seed's Myriad Resonances Golden Pill. He is our goal. Of course the Saturnine Hydra Devil King has also managed to catch a whiff of his aura and thus lusted over the Xia Kingdom. It wants to devour this Genesis Seed and become a Grand Devil King, equivalent to a Heavenly Emperor."

Shen Jinxiao trembled upon hearing these shocking words. He had never expected that the desolate Xia Kingdom would have contained a sealed Genesis Seed Heavenly Emperor from ancient times! Such an individual was only considered one of the Six Sons and it was hard to imagine just how terrifying the Sect Master was. "When you head to the Xia Kingdom and search for traces of the Void Resonance's Six Sons, if you come across the Absolute Resonance Seed or the Genesis Seed, you must cooperate with the experts present to capture them."

A strange light appeared within Shen Jinxiao's gaze as he let out a distorted smile. "May I dare ask if you're referring to Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e?"

The Demonic Flame Underworld King nodded his head. "From the news I've received, both of them are leading the soldiers of the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li towards the Xia Kingdom. However due to their personal strength and the scale of the forces that are accompanying them, they will not be easy to deal with. The Underworld Kings are busy tying up the Academic Federation as well. Thus you will have to wait for the right opportunity to act as the Saturnine Hydra Devil King will be our most capable fighter. The Genesis Seed has to be taken alive. Meanwhile if the Absolute Resonance Seed resists, it doesn't matter whether he's returned dead or alive, so long as the corpse is present."

Shen Jinxiao's bloody red tongue licked his lips as a perverted smile appeared on his face. "Yes sir!" The three acknowledged.

"Go then. All of you can head to the Black Vault to retrieve some treasured artifacts to assist you with this mission. Once the Origin Reversion Institute's plan is complete, there will be nothing in this world that will dare to stop us." With that the flame winked out. "Everyone, please leave Li Luo's head intact for me when the time comes. I want to keep it forever!" Shen Jinxiao gave a morbid smile. After absorbing the Ultimate Devil Corruption Seed, it was clear that he had turned a little deranged. Li Lingjing paused briefly, her pale skin contrasting against her exceptionally bright red lips. The corners of her mouth curled up into a slight smile causing her to look even more enchanting than before. "Alright." She grinned slightly and nodded her head. Her slender fingers tightly clenched around a staff where a python was carved into it. This python seemed to be alive as it spit out its bright red tongue, as though it could already taste the delicious innards of a broken skull.
