When news of the quelled Other Disaster spread, both Heavenly Emperor powers were incredibly relieved and everyone began to celebrate.

The endless slaughter had resulted in countless casualties. Numerous neutral powers had been annihilated and even the Heavenly Emperor powers had paid a heavy price. Thus, it was fortunate that things had come to a close.

The soldiers from the two powers began to return home, but the matters concerning the final distribution of territories remained complicated. After all, the neutral territory was gigantic, a cultivation resource gold mine. Furthermore, it was now unoccupied after the Others had been cleared out. Thus, the two Heavenly Emperor powers would undoubtedly start to extend their reach into those areas.

As a result, the negotiations that surrounded the distribution of these interests were naturally troublesome.

However, Li Luo had no intention of participating in this. Him, Jiang Qing'e, and Tantai Lan's clone returned back to Godriver City, where they started to inspect the golden fruit they had pilfered from the Spirit Eye Underworld King and Qin Jiujie.

"Mother, do you know what this is?"

As the golden fruit floated before the trio, strong fluctuations of life force emanated from it. All of the surrounding vegetation started to grow wildly and dense greenery covered the stone pavilion.

Tantai Lan waved her hand, causing gold light to flow out and the plant growth was removed. She then carefully inspected the fruit. "I don't know either. However, it contains a very domineering and incredible amount of vitality. It's hard to believe that the Origin Reversion Institute would create such a thing."

"Could it be that the Origin Reversion Institute is inciting Other Disasters just to refine this? What could it be for?" Li Luo didn't think too much about it before he continued. "No matter what, this is helpful for the Heavenly Thunder Bamboo that Grandpa transformed into."

He swiped his hand across his pocket sphere and an object flew out. It was the five-colored pot that the stalk of Heavenly Thunder Bamboo was growing in.

The Heavenly Thunder Bamboo was in a far more advanced state of growth than before.

Its trunk flickered with golden lightning that rumbled occasionally. Every time the lightning came into direct contact with its trunk, it would leave behind golden runic patterns. Furthermore, the familiar aura deep within the Heavenly Thunder Bamboo had become both stable and much vaster than before, reminding one of a daunting golden sea of thunder.

"The Respected Elder's Heavenly Thunder Bamboo has matured greatly. It looks like when you broke through in the Celestial Mirror Pagoda, you provided a large amount of Absolute Resonance Qi which then allowed it to grow much more quickly," Tantai Lan commented with surprise. The Heavenly Thunder Bamboo's aura was fairly weak before the trip to the Celestial Mirror Pagoda, but now it was almost terrifying.

Tantai Lan's eyes flowed with golden, silver, and inky light as her gaze penetrated to the core of the Heavenly Thunder Bamboo. A faint, egg-shaped object was inside the boundless sea of thunder contained within its core. The surface was covered with golden dragon scales and the faint but low rumble of a heartbeat could be heard, causing waves to be kicked up each time. The golden dragon egg was nurturing something.

"Within the Heavenly Thunder Bamboo is a dragon egg that contains life. Perhapsyour grandpa come back to life when the egg is completely developed," Tantai Lan said with a smile.

"Oh?" Li Luo was filled with great joy and emotions surged up within him. He had spent tremendous effort carefully taking care of the Heavenly Thunder Bamboo and didn't dare to let anything happen to it. He was afraid that the weak remnant soul which it contained would be affected, but fortunately, his actions had been helpful. It had grown steadily and the remaining aura of his grandpa had finally stabilized, turning into a dragon egg that signified his future rebirth.

"However, the rebirth will require a great amount of life force to stimulate. This would have required a large amount of time, but you have chanced upon a fated opportunity, obtaining this strange fruit filled with vitality. This will undoubtedly reduce the amount of time required by quite a lot," Tantai Lan continued.

"In that case, can you fuse the golden fruit with the Heavenly Thunder Bamboo for Grandpa to absorb?" Li Luo said.

Tantai Lan smiled. "Don't you want some too? This sort of fruit is rarely seen. If you absorb it, it'll not only increase your lifespan, but also transform your body, making you physically stronger."

Li Luo nonchalantly replied, "I'm still young and kicking, so I don't need that kind of supplement. As for my body, I can already turn into a Heavenly Dragon and receive many beatings."

"Mother, we don't need this. Give it to Grandpa, please." Jiang Qing'e also supported Li Luo's decision. She deeply respected Li Jingzhe from the bottom of her heart. The old man had many opportunities to escape the World's End River Region, but he had chosen to wield his staff against a Grand Devil King in order to protect the younger generation. Experiencing his protective heart first-hand had led to them being greatly moved, so they were very respectful towards him.

He then changed the topic and spoke of his upcoming plans. "Mother, since the Other Disaster at the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li has been resolved, Sister Qing'e and I want to quickly find a time to return to the Xia Kingdom. The situation there is deteriorating, and if we allow it to drag it on for too long, I'm afraid Principal Pang might not be able to hold on any longer."

"Is it time to return to the Xia Kingdom?"

Tantai Lan gave a sigh. "Regardless, I'll make sure you two don't go alone. I'll discuss this with Li Tianji and we'll send a King with you at the very least. We'll also send some soldiers. Preferably all of the Heavenly Dragon's Five Guardian Armies. You're the Grand Guardian General, and when you control all of them together with the Five Guardian Formation, you should be able to challenge a Single Crowned King."

"The entire Five Guardian Armies? Isn't that too much?" Li Luo was shocked. That was tens of thousands of troops, and he was to bring all of them back to the Xia Kingdom? Wouldn't that be awesome? If the First Princess laid eyes on them, she might be so stunned that she would be unable to move. And what about his old classmates? Would they be frightened silly?
