Fan Kongliu stared at Chen Shi and said, "Yu Lingzi has a warm heart and can never sit still. Upon hearing that Shen Hongniang was in trouble yesterday, he rushed out to find you. I’ve heard that you thus injured Yu Lingzi. Today, Mr. Chen, this young monk has come to seek justice on behalf of Yu Lingzi!"

Upon hearing this, Yu Lingzi felt a surge of anger in his chest and wanted to retort that it was Fan Kongliu who had instigated him to seek out Chen Shi, but he couldn’t bring himself to say the words; the more he held back, the angrier he became.

Chen Shi asked, "Fan Kongliu, what cultivation technique do you practice?"

Fan Kongliu smiled faintly and replied, "Thanks to my master’s high regard, he granted me the Buddha’s Crown Supreme Victory Mantra, which I have been cultivating ever since."

Chen Shi pondered for a moment and said, "This technique includes the World Venerable Golden Body. How well have you mastered it, and how does it compare to the Bodhi Golden Body and the Golden Body of Great Baoguo Temple?"

Fan Kongliu’s expression turned solemn and said, "Once the Golden Body is achieved, there is no difference. However, the Golden Body of Great Baoguo Temple originates from a Golden Body Bodhisattva. Meanwhile, the Golden Body from my Water Moon Sacred Realm comes from Shakyamuni himself. According to the Buddhist scripture ’Moon Pointing Record’, when the Boundless Body Bodhisattva saw the World Venerable’s Golden Body, he broke off a bamboo stick about ten feet in length to measure the height of the World Venerable’s Ten-foot Golden Body. The Bodhisattva measured ten feet, then measured again, continuously measuring from the realm of desire up to the realm of Brahma, yet never reached the top of the World Venerable’s head."

With a slight smile, he continued, "How can the Ten-foot Golden Body be merely ten feet tall? How can the Bodhisattva Golden Body and the World Venerable Golden Body be spoken of in the same breath?"

Yu Lingzi, upon hearing this, was puzzled and wondered to himself, "Isn’t Uncle Master Chen here to reason things out? Why are they discussing the Golden Body?"

Chen Shi said, "I’ll give you the opportunity to activate your World Venerable Golden Body. I tend to strike quickly when I make a move; many people often don’t have enough time to prepare and are already defeated by me."

Fan Kongliu looked puzzled and turned to Yu Lingzi, asking, "Yu Lingzi, what is going on?"

As he asked, he activated his World Venerable Golden Body.

The so-called World Venerable Golden Body, which was also the Ten-foot Golden Body, was about ten feet tall. When activated, it would be enveloped by a Nascent Soul or Primordial Spirit Field. The closer one got to the Golden Body, the larger it seemed. If one went deep into the field and approached it, the World Venerable Golden Body appeared as immense as Sumeru Mountain, giving one a sense of invincibility!

What was even more terrifying was that the World Venerable Golden Body didn’t actually grow larger, still being ten feet tall, which meant its reaction speed remained extremely quick.

A monk who attained the World Venerable Golden Body, when facing an enemy, would only be perceived as an immensely towering Buddha descending at an unimaginable speed. The next moment, they would be crushed to dust and broken bones!

The Ten-foot Golden Body was an experience born from combat by countless masters of Buddhism.

During battles, it was found that a height of ten feet provided both the advantage of stature and the agility for quick reactions. If one was shorter, the height advantage would not be so pronounced, and if one was taller, the limbs would not coordinate as well.

Fan Kongliu’s World Venerable Golden Body, once executed, his body swelled with each joint’s expansion, tall and thin with golden skin shining through beneath the skin.

Within his Primordial Spirit Field shone treasured light, his expression benevolent, yet his gaze remained fixed on Yu Lingzi, "Yu Lingzi, what is this about? Did you bring Chen Shi here to go against me? Today, you must give me an explanation!"

Yu Lingzi felt a surge of guilt and was just about to speak when Chen Shi suddenly bellowed.

"To hell with an explanation!"

A thunderous roar echoed within Lanyue Palace, and Yu Lingzi felt as if thunder exploded beside his ear, momentarily deaf to everything else.

He sensed the air in the entire Lanyue Palace being violently sucked out, making the space waver unstably.

Chen Shi’s fist tore through Fan Kongliu’s Primordial Spirit Field, his fist force thundered, and it struck right into Fan Kongliu’s lower abdomen. Fan Kongliu’s hand moved down like a Buddha Seal to fend off the attack, but as Chen Shi’s punch landed, the bones along his spine protruded, causing Fan Kongliu’s Buddha Seal to miss its mark!

His body slammed backwards into a pillar thick as a water bucket, causing it to collapse, and then he crashed heavily against the wall!

Chen Shi, like a shadow, flew up and kicked the underside of this Golden Body monk, and even with Vajra Body, his features twisted in pain!

That kick was incredibly heavy, causing the wall behind Fan Kongliu to bulge outwards.

Chen Shi’s hands, sharp like blades, plunged into the pressure points beneath his ribs.

This was where the kidneys were located, a place inflicting unimaginable pain when hit. If the kidneys were destroyed, it could even be fatal.

Fan Kongliu’s face twisted in agony, nearly bringing him to his knees. The force from Chen Shi’s downward thrust penetrated through his legs into the ground, causing Lanyue Palace to tilt sideways!

Realizing the gravity of his situation, he endured the pain, quickly pulled out his legs, and tried to steady himself, reciting the True Words.

The World Venerable Golden Body itself is also a cultivation technique that, when cultivated, requires coordination with an eighteen-letter True Word, which also acts as a Seal Technique. He hadn’t even begun the first syllable of the True Word when Chen Shi’s fist smashed into his throat.

In one strike.

His throat bone was crushed.

Chen Shi’s knee collided with his chin, and Fan Kongliu felt as though his crown was about to fly off as his head snapped backward, only to be swept by another of Chen Shi’s legs!

A dull thump sounded out as Fan Kongliu crashed into the opposite wall, and the whole of Lanyue Palace trembled violently, with cracks spreading all over the surrounding walls.

Fan Kongliu lay on the ground, attempting to rise, only for Chen Shi to step on his hand, pinning him down.

"The World Venerable Golden Body is indeed impressive; it’s among the best of the second-rate. You took so many hits from me and still didn’t die, which is quite remarkable."
