Chapter 166: End of the Tunnel! At Last!

"What? What is it?" Lily asked confused by my sudden outburst.

I told her about what just happened, "I- I got the [Spatial Storage] skill instead of [Succu Storage]."

"EEEEHHHHH?!?!?!?!" She screamed out in shock as well. "You got [Spatial Storage]!?! That’s so cool! That means you can store anything in there!"

"Does it? I’ve never heard of it before." I stated as today was the first time I’d seen or even heard of magic that could store things in an alternate mini-dimension.

"Have you never heard of this before?"

"No."

"HOW!?!? It’s one of the most sought after magics of all time! Even with my [Succu Storage] it’s not enough! I still have to only store things that meet the requirements for it!" Lily shouted at me.

"I don’t know! I just do after having learnt what you taught me!" I exclaimed back at her.

"What do you mean you don’t know? And how do you know that you have [Spatial Storage] anyway?" She questioned suspiciously.

"My Soul Scroll told me!" I answered back.

"You have a- Actually, I’m not surprised by that one."

"Not surprised by what?" I asked, not sure what she was referring to.

"Oh, right. I forget that that’s a big deal."

"But still! That doesn’t explain why you have [Spatial Storage]!"

"Maybe it’s because of my affinity with [Space]?"

I shared my thoughts on the matter, and more specifically, my affinity for [Space], and that seemed to only make Lily even more annoyed for some reason.

"REALLY!??! On top of having the king’s bloodline and a Soul Scroll, you have an affinity for [Space]?!!?" She shouted at me.

"Yes? Why is that so hard to believe?" I questioned, not knowing why she was acting the way she was.

"Do you not know how rare Spatial magic is!?! Only those who are born from parents who can already use it can have it! And you’re just saying that you just, have it?!" She screamed on.

"Well, the way I got it is weird. Because I got it by drinking a strange liquid out of a giant skeleton, and I mean GIANT."

She just stared at me with an incredulous look on her face and said while flailing her arms at me, "That doesn’t help me understand anything!"

"It’s the truth. I don’t know what else to say to you."

*Sigh* She sighed and said sarcastically, "I don’t know anymore with you. Next thing I know is that you’ll tell me you have a second bloodline."

"Uhh..." I didn’t say anything.

"Oh my Lucifer, you do, don’t you?"

"Yeah... Is it, a bad thing?"

"I mean... Not necessarily? It’s just that some people will want to find out why and kidnap you to find out so that they can have something similar themselves."

I shivered uncontrollably as she said that.

"What’s wrong? Was it something I said?" She asked in worry.

"Don’t mention that..."

"Don’t mention what? Kidnapping?" She asked for clarification

I just nodded in response.

"Oh... Okay..."

Once more, an awkward silence descended upon us, and this time it went on for a lot longer. And I mean a lot longer. We even managed to reach the end of the tunnel after a while.

"Shall we go in?" Lily asked, looking at me with a hint of regret and shame.

I didn’t feel ready to apologise or explain, I don’t think I could ever explain to anyone. So I simply suggested that we go to sleep for the time being in one of the nearby rooms.

She acquiesced and found one just a few doors back. The slimes on the other hand, had already gone through the entrance to the boss room, which was made from a falling pink sand. That sand being an aphrodisiac, just like before. This one was meant to inhibit your nerves and make you immobile, presumably to make it easier for the boss to rape you.

We went to sleep, the doors closed as soon as we entered but we didn’t say anything to each other and just found a good spot to sleep. I knew that I should fix this tomorrow, but I wasn’t going to think about it now.

For now, I was going to go to sleep.

I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed, great even. I vaguely remember having a dream where I just had sex for a long while with someone. That was it, just sex. I don’t know who with as it was just some faceless person from my vague memories of the dream, but I feel better now because of it.

And it seemed that I wasn’t the only one to wake up refreshed and energised. Lily seemed to wake up in a similar state also.

And for some strange reason, the door seemed to have open to the confusion of the both of us. We didn’t actually know what the original trap was as we just went straight to sleep, and we woke up in the same place we went to sleep.

We took a look around the room but couldn’t find anything that would indicate how we completed the trap requirements, so we just left and went back to the boss room.

I was half expecting to see eight slimes upon leaving the room but no, no slimes were there. I suppose that makes sense considering that they had already left through the sand yesterday.

I had also put some things into my new interdimensional storage, which mainly just consisted of the potions right now. I also learned through its description that it could store up to ten cubic metres in all directions till full, and that I could take out whatever I wanted whenever I wanted no matter where it was in the storage.

Overall it was a pretty good skill to have and although I didn’t have much to put in it now, I’m sure that it would be stuffed with things later.

But for now, we just had to make sure that we were ready for the boss fight, even if it just turned out that we would have sex for hours, we still had to be prepared, so we spent the next hour coming up with a plan, or what looked like one but was really just what to do in the case of certain scenarios.

When we were done, we just had to figure out how to get through the entrance. The pink sandy aphrodisiac dust would not only paralyse us, but it would also, like an aphrodisiac, make us extremely sexually sensitive.

Lily poked her finger in to test the effects and her whole hand flopped limp.

"This is a problem. Just the tip of your finger went in and your entire hand went numb. How are we supposed to counteract this?" I wondered.

"Well, we could always try and just not touch the stuff?" She suggested.

"But how? How would we go about doing that?"

"We could form a protective magic barrier around us?" She proposed.

"Oh, not a bad idea. But would that work? What if it got stuck on top of the barrier?"

"Just, don’t deactivate it I guess?"

"Oh yeah... Well, we have a game plan, so... You ready?" I asked her.

To which she firmly nodded her head.

We formed a barrier around ourselves. I used my [Elemental Scales] while she used just a generic mana shield.

Then, we jumped through to the boss room.
