Suddenly, not only did I feel my energy recover, the lectus that the tentacle brood was resting on when I came in disappeared and turned into a small pile of loot. Inside the heart itself was what seemed like a womb tattoo filled with white. It clearly was meant to represent getting creampied. There was also some runic inscription beneath the symbol that read ’Book of Lustful Temptations’. The purpose, meaning and use of this book was extremely obvious to me.

Still, I opened it up anyways as it seemed to have lots of information, inspiration and more hidden inside of it. However, as soon as I grabbed it, I received a message from my Soul Scroll.

’What? It can do that? I... Can do that?’ Since when? Or is it only limited to specific items like this one?’ My thoughts ran as my mind raced to figure out why I received this message and what it meant beyond the surface level. Yes, it said that I could absorb it, but what did that mean? Would I read it in my mind? Or would it be like a summonable item?

There was no way for me to tell, but it would certainly be helpful as it would mean that I don’t have to carry it around everywhere.

I pressed [Y] and the book dissipated into golden particles, similar to that of my Soul Scroll.

Oh, neat. It can do both. Now then, that just leaves us with the potions. I have no idea what any of them even do... Wait! Maybe their information is in this book I just got. It seems like a long shot but I have this feeling that that’s the case.

I willed the book to appear before me and with a puff of pink sparkly spoke, it appeared. Neat.

I opened the first page which said something about Lust and whatever it represented and blah blah blah. I skipped that page and a couple others to find the index. I filtered through it to find the letter ’P’ for potion, and then for potion itself.

’Aha! Found it.’

Turns out it was actually ’Potions’ but whatever, same thing. I tried to turn the page but they were all empty.

’What? Why are they empty?’ There was at least another page and a bit of the index after I found the potions section in said index, but the book didn’t even have any writing in it in the first place. Why?

I went back to the first pages of the book to read through them properly and soon found out why. It was because of the way the book itself work.

It worked by basically writing the information on the desired section on the empty pages. That makes sense because the index was actually a few pages long, and with the thickness of the book, there was no way that it could contain that much information in such a small book.

The way that this function worked was by imbuing my energy and intent into the book and it would fill in the blank pages with the section selected in the index.

I turned the page to the first actual page with information on it, which was a guide on how this ’Potions’ section worked. It had information on all the potions that had anything to do with lust, be it aphrodisiacs, or substances that messed with once perception of reality, forcing the one who drank it to fall in love with the person who made it and so on.

Fortunately for me, this book also had a nifty feature that came along with it. After turning the page, there was actually a magical inscription on the right page that was actually moving, and on the left, it explained that this inscription would examine any potion put on it, and if the potion on the inscription was logged in this book, then it would turn the book to that page.

I took the Pink potion and placed it onto the inscription but nothing happened for a while until I realised that I had to activate the inscription for it to actually work.

I powered the inscription with my Lust energy and it started to glow with a pure pink light before the light died down. I took the potion off of the inscription and the books pages immediately started to flip, the flicking sound of turning pages ringing through my ears.
