Chapter 147: Running Away

"Stop. Right. There."

My body froze and the fire in my hand immediately went out as soon as I heard that voice. What was she doing here? How did she find me? Did she follow me? But how? I made sure that I went undetected and remained out of sight. How did this bitch follow me.

I turned around and there she was, with a huge red scar covering the right side of her face, going across her scalp. It was the porcupine bitch.

I clenched my hands, my arms trembling in rage.

’What are you doing here?’ I asked her.

"What? Don’t tell me you don’t know? I’ve been keeping my eye on you since we left the city. Surely you must have noticed that, right?" She said in a sappy tone.

’What do you want?’

"What I want? I want you dead." She stated emotionlessly.

I stared at her with a gaze that said I don’t believe her.

"What you think I’m kidding?"

I continued starting at her with a dead expression on my face.

"Hmph! I may not be strong, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t get revenge."

’For what? Why are you even doing this?’ I asked, as I was genuinely confused as to why she did everything she did.

"Because everything that happened is your fault! All of my harem is dead because of you! And so is Cythistia! Do you have any idea how much I loved her?!" She screamed at me.

She... She dared to call her by her name... And not only that, she dared to say she loved her. How dare she.

"You only loved her because you got her pregnant. My love was all natural! Just like her powers!"

And in a burst of rage, I lunged at her.

"HOW DARE YOU!!!! HOW DARE YOU SAY YOU LOVED HER!!!!"

I grabbed her face and extended my claws and dug into her face, screaming at her, completely unaware that I just used my voice, which sounded very raspy.

"AAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!" She shriek as my fingers penetrated her skull and caused blood to flow out of it.

I then used my thumbs and pierced them into her eyes, causing her to scream even louder than before as more blood squirted out of her eye sockets and onto my arms, face and clothes.

And in my anger, I ignited my hands once more with [Hellfire], burning away at her face even more than it had been already.

I didn’t stop until my hands fell through her melting skull, squelching into her brains, which snapped me out of my rageful state, leaving me to unpack what I had just done.

I wasn’t regretful or shocked that I killed her, but more fearful of the consequences. They definitely heard those agonizing screams. And without thinking, I stuffed the body into my mouth and swallowed it down before I rushed away from the scene.

I didn’t want anyone finding me. I didn’t want to answer for my actions. I didn’t even want to be alive right now. I just wanted to end it. Why did things have turn out like this?

’Just why is my life filled with misery?’

I started crying again as the emotions overwhelmed me once more. Just why is my life so shit? Why does everything go awry? Just why do I have to go through all of this?

As I cried, I continued slithering away from the scene.

Eventually I stopped and decided to rest and reflect. I know I said I would kill myself, but I just wasn’t in the right headspace to do that anymore.

I leaned up against a tree and lifted my tail and hugged it while resting my head atop it, still sobbing.

I don’t know how long I sat there crying but eventually the sky was covered in clouds, and my only source of light disappeared, leaving me in the dark. Which wasn’t a problem as I had... What was it called again? Dark Sight? No, that doesn’t feel right.

Why am I not surprised? This always happens at the most inconvenient of times.

Not only has my voice unexpectedly returned, but my soul has been fractured, causing some of my stats to disappear and turn into percentages. I... I have no words...

Everything in my life is just fucked up at this point. I don’t know what I should be doing either. I wanted to kill myself but now I just can’t do that. My mental state has been ruptured and I no longer feel like doing it.

I could hear someone or something growling from nearby. I looked up to see a wild wolf-kin woman. She had grey fur and had more endowed features than I did. And out of pure spite or boredom, I don’t know at this point, I used [Curse of Lust] on it, just to see what would happen to someone if I used it without any idea of how I wanted to affect someone with it.

And as I observed the curse take effect, I just saw the woman stay in place as she went into heat before she fell forwards face first into the ground, unable to keep herself up.

*Growl*

Ah, my stomach is rumbling, I guess I should eat her and go. But where would I go? I can’t go back to the camp, but that was the only real home that I’ve ever had since father left.

I guess... I could just return to the desert? Maybe? But, what reason would I have to go back there? I don’t have anything on me that’s of any value, I left my gold bag back at the camp along with all of my clothes.

All I have is my ring and my necklace, but I’m never going to give those up I have the clothes that I’m wearing, but now that I look at it, they’re covered in blood...

I took all my clothes off as I didn’t have a way to wash them properly and burned them as I no longer had any use for them.

... Now I have even less on me...

I looked over at the rabid wolf-kin woman hunched over with her ass hanging tantalizingly in the air, like a prime piece of meat waiting to be devoured.

I could feel my body heating up at the sight. Maybe I should relieve some stress before I do anything else, just to allow my mind to rest.

I got up and slithered over to the wolf-kin woman and grabbed her head. Her tongue lolling out of her mouth with a flushed face and foggy eyes.

I felt my heart rate speed up as my blood started to rush down to my loins as I started to become more aroused.

’Fuck it.’ I thought as I decided to release everything inside of me, both physically and emotionally, into this new fuckhole of a snack.
