Chapter 138: The Brewing Storm
Carl stormed into his chambers, rage simmering beneath his skin as he paced back and forth, clenching his fists. His father’s slap still echoed in his mind, the sting on his cheek a painful reminder of the humiliation.
"How dare he?" His eyes burned with fury as he replayed the scene in the throne room.
"How dare he lay a hand on me," Carl hissed under his breath. He stopped pacing and took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down.
He couldn’t let his anger consume him, not yet.
Revenge would come, but it had to be calculated. His father would pay for this affront, but only when the timing was right. Carl smirked, imagining the day he would make his father kneel before him.
But for now, his mind wandered to other thoughts.
Thoughts of him - Eirik.
His beautiful face, the way his slender body moved with such grace, the soft curve of his lips.
Carl’s heart raced as he pictured Eirik. The anger that had been simmering inside him shifted into something darker, something twisted. He licked his lips and let his thoughts sink deeper into his obsession.
"Soon, Eirik. Soon, you’ll be mine."
A familiar warmth stirred in him, his thoughts of Eirik bringing his body to life.
Carl groaned in frustration and ran a hand through his hair. He couldn’t ignore it any longer. His body was aching, his arousal burning through him like a fire. He needed release, and it couldn’t wait.
He called for the guard stationed outside his chamber door. The man entered, bowing low, awaiting Carl’s command.
"Fetch Amelia," Carl ordered, his voice sharp.
The guard nodded and hurried out to do his bbidding
Carl took a deep breath, sitting on the edge of his bed. He needed to calm the storm raging inside him. ’Eirik, Eirik,’ his mind whispered, and his body responded again.
As he waited, Carl’s thoughts flickered back to the recent wedding in Zephyros, where Eirik had married Crown Prince KKaelix
The very thought of Kaelix made Carl’s blood boil. How could he have what was supposed to be his?
Eirik should belonged to him, not some brutish prince from ZZephyros
When the time come, Carl, promised to rip Eirik away from Kaelix, take him for himself, and make him see who truly owned him. The thought made Carl’s breath quicken, his hunger for power and possession growing stronger.
"I’ll have you, Eirik. You won’t be able to resist me."
Amelia knocked softly on the door before she entered, her face lit with a flirtatious smile as she sauntered in.
She had served Prince Carl for years and knew exactly what it meant when he summoned her at this hour. Her eyes gleamed with anticipation as she approached, but Carl’s face remained cold and distant.
Amelia, sensing his mood, tried to tease him. "Your Highness, what ails you this evening?"
Carl didn’t bother to answer. His focus wasn’t on her. He stood abruptly, his trousers already loose, and gestured toward her with impatience. "Just get on with it."
Amelia’s smile faltered for a moment, but she quickly kneeled before him, her hands reaching out to obey the command. She was used to Carl’s indifference, but tonight he seemed even more detached. She took him into her mouth, her movements practiced, trying to please him as she always had. But Carl’s thoughts were elsewhere.
As Amelia moved, Carl closed his eyes, his mind no longer in the room. He wasn’t with Amelia; he was with Eirik. He imagined Eirik’s soft lips, the way his eyes would look up at him, how his breath would hitch with every movement.
The image in his mind was so vivid that he groaned aloud, his fingers tangling in Amelia’s hair as he thrust harder, faster.
"Yes, Eirik," he muttered, his voice filled with desire. "Take me whole. Like that. Just like that."
Amelia’s eyes flickered with confusion and hurt, though she didn’t stop her actions.
"Who is Eirik?" she wondered. She had never heard the prince speak of anyone by that name before.
She had always been the one to satisfy Carl’s needs, and for the first time, she realized that someone else had taken her place, even if only in his mind. The realization stung, but she knew better than to question it.
Carl’s grip tightened painfully, pulling her closer as he lost himself in his fantasy. "Eirik," he moaned again, his voice hoarse. "You belong to me."
Amelia’s discomfort grew as Carl’s thrusts became more erratic, more forceful, almost cruel. Tears pricked her eyes as she struggled to keep up, her body shaking with the effort. She tried to slow down, hoping to regain some control, but Carl’s hold on her was too strong. He wasn’t going to let her stop. Not until he was finished.
With a final groan of pleasure, Carl found his release, his body shuddering as he rode out the wave of his fantasy. Amelia swallowed, not daring to waste any, her eyes red from the strain.
Carl staggered back toward the bed, his breathing heavy. He didn’t even look at Amelia as he waved her off dismissively. "Get out," he said coldly, his voice void of any warmth or care.
Amelia hesitated for a moment, her usual routine of staying close to him afterward now broken.
She had always snuggled up next to Carl after these encounters, but tonight was different. He wanted nothing to do with her. Swallowing her pride and hurt, she stood and quickly left the room without another word, closing the door softly behind her.
As soon as she was gone, Carl collapsed onto the bed, his body still tingling from the release, but his mind was elsewhere. He lay there, staring at the ceiling, his thoughts filled with only one person.
"Soon, Eirik. Soon, you will be mine."
A dark smile crept across Carl’s lips as he imagined what the future held. He would tear apart Valeidio and Zephyros if he had to, but he would have Eirik by his side. He didn’t care what it took. His father’s slap, the failed assassination, none of it mattered now.
The storm he was brewing would consume them all, and in the end, Eirik would be his prize.
