A Professor of Magic at Hogwarts
Chapter 633: Restless Night - (2)

Daphne lay on the hospital bed, hesitant to open her eyes. Her face flushed with embarrassment, fearing she'd been caught feigning sleep. Part of her wished she could genuinely faint. Fortunately, the conversation resumed soon after.

"Cough, I heard it was a mistake with the Bloodroot?" Professor Heap's voice carried an unusual tone.

"Yeah, heard she mistook it for parsley powder to make tea. Those two are pretty distinguishable. I suppose her knowledge of herbology must be lacking." Madam Pophrey's voice approached, accompanied by the sound of liquid being poured into a cup.

"Is there a chance of other reasons, like being under the Confundus Charm?"

Confundus Charm? Daphne, under the covers, was startled. She was under the Confundus Charm?

"Felix, this is no joke! The usual Confundus Charm doesn't exhibit these symptoms..." Madam Pophrey said uneasily, not even noticing the spilled potion. "Her sister found a packet of Bloodroot seeds in her pocket, and she herself... oh, Merlin, I better check again."

"Wake up, young lady."

Daphne stretched lazily, opened her eyes, and asked with a puzzled expression, "What's going on?" Then she was startled, realizing that the bed was surrounded. Harry, Ron, and Hermione were staring at her, Hermione with crossed arms and a half-smile. Professor Heap sat alone on the side, playing with his fingernails.

"Your face is quite red; did you have a nightmare?" Hermione asked knowingly.

Daphne, annoyed, snatched the cup and drank it down with a "gulp"—"Hey, don't." Madam Pophrey exclaimed—resulting in a choked cough. Her face turned even redder.

"Miss Greengrass, Potter told me something, and I have some doubts," Felix said. "The day you met someone at Madam Puddifoot's tea shop... do you remember?"

"She's my aunt!" Daphne blurted out.

"Think again, her appearance, age, does it match any of your aunts?"

"I..." Daphne suddenly looked pained, rubbing her forehead. "I remember..."

Felix raised a finger, softly chanting, "Finite Incantatem." Daphne, as if splashed with cold water, shivered, then looked around in confusion.

"Do you remember that aunt now?"

"What aunt? I don't have any aunt! Oh, Merlin, that wretched old woman!" Daphne screamed. "Do you remember what happened that day?" Felix asked.

"That day... I went to Hogsmeade with Astoria. She insisted on going to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes for shopping, and I disagreed. She left me and ran off! I was angry at the time, and then... then I felt someone tap me on the shoulder; it was that woman!" She suddenly said angrily, "I turned around—she claimed to be my aunt, I didn't doubt it at all, followed her into the tea shop, and she asked me to bring something—"

Felix stood up.

"It's quite clear. With Voldemort's fall, security measures in the school have also decreased; after all, it can't be tense forever. Miss Greengrass, I suggest you talk to Headmaster Dumbledore. He will make arrangements to prevent such incidents. You can submit today's homework later."

Harry caught up.

"Professor," he said breathlessly, "that woman clearly has malicious intentions."

Felix didn't speak. Explaining the origin of 'Nicole Noel' would inevitably involve Grindelwald, and his identity was confidential.

"What do you think of Professor Bagshot?"

"What kind of person?" Harry repeated in confusion, then hesitated and said, "He's okay." Speculating in his mind, did the professor suspect something related to Professor Bagshot? Harry had thought about it, but Professor Bagshot didn't seem to hide anything, especially since he had revealed the secret of the Saints...

"Even if he put you in detention?"

"What—uh, yes, but it's not exactly detention. We just discussed my recent essay and magic," Harry said.

"Essay and magic." Felix smiled and left, leaving behind a bewildered Harry.

According to Felix's knowledge, Grindelwald would be sent back to Nurmengard after teaching this year's classes to continue serving his sentence. The old man was not someone who worked for nothing; he must have his own purpose. Now, it seemed that he hoped Harry would inherit some of his thoughts.

It was just unclear whether he had chosen only Harry or had more candidates.

After the lights went out that night, Felix looked through Percy's letter on his desk. Percy wrote excitedly that, with his efforts, seven Ministries of Magic had agreed to introduce a small number of exclusive wands. However, many countries still had reservations, fearing the impact of the mute community wielding magic on their societies. In the end of the letter, Percy said he would "persevere."

Felix put down the letter and stared at the ceiling in thought. He knew more comprehensive information.

More precisely, 'on the surface,' only seven Ministries of Magic had agreed to introduce exclusive wands, but in secret, the Future World company had received a large number of international orders. According to Lupin's analysis, those officials "haven't decided whether to accept the mute group openly, but it doesn't stop them from secretly stocking up as a backup."

When the clock's hour hand pointed to twelve, Felix yawned. There was a miniature desk set on his large desk, and Valen sat in a chair similar to Felix's, also yawning.

Valen rubbed his eyes and looked up from a fairy tale book called "The Peaceful Piglet."

At this moment, a crisp bird chirp came from the left drawer of Felix's desk. He opened the drawer, and a small green bird flew out, carrying a thick parchment map. Felix spread out the map, staring at the moving ink dots.

"It's quite lively tonight." Felix smiled and said to Valen, "Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna, Ginny... how did they all gather? Oh, there's one more, Leonhard Bagshot. I understand why Dumbledore walks around with a live map. Besides surveillance, he probably doesn't want the name 'Grindelwald' to appear on the map, too obvious..."

"Valen, where do you think we should join the excitement tonight?"
