A Professor of Magic at Hogwarts -
Chapter 628: The Trip to Hogsmeade Weekend - (2)
The time for studying Animagus is set after Halloween. Including Felix, Ron, and Hermione, there are a total of over a dozen students who meet the requirements. They have almost a month to study theoretical knowledge before making their first attempt during the Christmas break, minimizing the difficulties posed by speaking during the process.
In the morning, students lined up and, under the envious eyes of younger wizards, passed Filch's inspection to explore Hogsmeade.
"Where's Hermione?" Ron asked at the oak door.
"She's still messing with her book of magical texts; she can't wait to fill it up," Harry said, glancing around.
"Well, it looks like it's just the two of us today," Ron sighed but quickly perked up, "How about starting at Zonko's? Then we can visit Fred and George's shop, and also Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop; I need to replenish a few quills. Finally, we can have a drink at the Three Broomsticks..."
"Uh, actually," Harry looked a bit awkwardly at Ron.
"Hey, Harry!" Ginny appeared from behind them, happily patting Harry on the shoulder. "Let's go."
Ron stared wide-eyed and incredulously exclaimed, "Are you coming with us?"
Ginny raised a beautiful eyebrow and walked up, linking arms with Harry, defiantly looking at Ron. Harry felt strange; he wanted to discreetly pull his arm back, but Ginny insisted on holding it.
"I think," she looked straight at Ron, "it's time to set an example of being a good brother."Ron was dumbfounded.
"Are you coming or not?" Filch shouted at them angrily.
"Let's go!" Ginny turned and, with her flame-like hair billowing for a moment, dragged Harry away. Harry had never felt this way before: the road from school to Hogsmeade seemed too long, and he didn't feel the joy of the date at all. Even though Ginny was right next to him, the occasional gruff voice behind reminded him that Ron hadn't gone far.
"Where are we going first?" Ginny asked cheerfully.
"Uh... how about Zonko's first?" Harry racked his brain.
"And then?"
"I think... we could go to Fred and George's shop; maybe we'll run into them."
"Good idea! What else?"
"... go to Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop to buy a few quills, and finally have a warm drink at the Three Broomsticks. How does that sound?" Ron suddenly spoke up, asking somewhat gloomily.
"Oh, bother," Ginny said disdainfully.
They parted ways at the entrance of Hogsmeade – Ron was reluctant, but Ginny glared at him and wouldn't let go. "Who brings their sister on a date?" Ron grumbled and walked away, kicking the ground.
Harry and Ginny arrived at Zonko's, but it was already boarded up.
"Oh, no." As they turned towards Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, Harry suddenly called out, leading Ginny down a side street.
"What's wrong?" Ginny peeked behind.
"It's Professor Slughorn," Harry said nervously, and Ginny laughed lightly in his ear, making Harry's heart tickle. He completely forgot about Ron and let him freeze on the street – "How about having tea at Madame Puddifoot's?" Harry gathered his courage and asked.
It was a recognized dating spot for Hogwarts couples.
Ginny looked at him, her eyes seemingly sparkling.
"What's wrong?" Harry said, feeling a bit feverish, unsure if his little scheme had been discovered.
Ginny laughed heartily, "Sure." She straightened up and said, ruffling her messy hair.
The tea shop was already crowded, and as they walked in, all eyes were on them. In the corner, two young girls pouted, one with a prominent chin and black long hair, talking animatedly with her companion.
"Ignore them," Ginny said arrogantly, pulling Harry in. However, after wandering around the smoky room without finding an empty seat, the two younger girls, who were about to leave, sat back down openly, crossing their arms and frowning at Ginny.
"That's Romilda Vane; she's discussing how to give you a love potion in the club," Ginny said, anxiously scanning the surroundings, hoping to free up a pair of seats.
"What?" Harry exclaimed in shock.
"Oh, don't be so surprised; some ideas are quite interesting," Ginny casually remarked, then her eyes lit up, "Let's go over there!"
Harry had a strange feeling. He thought the situation was pretty clear; Ginny was there at the time, but instead of stopping it, she got involved herself. At least, he heard quite a few "interesting ideas." This made him very annoyed, and then he thought of a crucial question: a club? What club?
A dark shadow cast over Harry's mind, and maybe he should find an opportunity to talk to the Creevey brothers about the management issues of the club. For safety reasons, this matter was urgent...
They arrived at a window seat where two people were just getting up. One of them was an elegant old woman, gracefully fastening her coat button, and then she handed a gift box to Daphne Greengrass.
Harry again saw the delicate smile on Daphne's face, and he was a bit allergic to that smile.
"... give it to him for me."
Daphne nodded, and the two walked out of Madam Puddifoot's, separating left and right.
On the other side, Ron aimlessly wandered the streets of Hogsmeade, sucking on a licorice wand, full of complaints. Then, he saw a ragged old woman passing by and glanced at her without thinking, but the clumsy guy following her caught his attention.
"Hey! Ton—" Ron excitedly called.
Suddenly, a wand pressed against his lower back.
"Say one more word, and I'll kill you."
