A Mate For The Last Lycan
Chapter 137: ZURI LOST CONTROL OVER HERSELF

Chapter 137: ZURI LOST CONTROL OVER HERSELF

Ezra was referring to the fact that king Dacre had a private conversation with Zuri after he promised her to Khaos.

However, Zuri didn’t even remember that and it took some time to recall that even, which made Ezra became suspicious of her.

"No, why should I be in contact with the king?" Zuri frowned. She wanted to know where this conversation would go. From the corner of her eyes, she could see her mother was giving her a nasty look. Why did she give her a nasty look? It’s not like she was having a secret meeting with Ezra because they were having an affair. That’s ridiculous.

Ezra looked at her suspiciously. "If I have to be honest. I don’t trust you."

"You don’t need to, your trust means nothing to me." Zuri put an effort not to roll her eyes for his statement. This man was so different from his son. She disliked him.

’Kill him.’

’Kill him.’

’Kill him.’

’The world will not be any worse of having lost him.’

The voices in her head kept chanting the same thing. Very eager to see blood. It had been a while, since they didn’t see it. The warm feeling when the red color seeped to the ground. The beautiful sight of it...

’Kill him! Kill him! Kill him!’

’No one is here! No one will be able to stop you! You know that you can kill him with ease.’

Zuri’s claws retracted. She could feel her heart was beating with excitement with the thought of his blood on her hands. When his heart stopped beating and the fear in his eyes...

She hated those eyes that looked at her suspiciously.

’Gauge his eyes. Gauge his eyes and you don’t need to see them anymore.’

Zuri moved closer to Ezra. At this point, she didn’t hear what he was saying. She only saw his mouth was moving, but there was no voice that he produced that Zuri could hear.

Aside from the voices in her head, Zuri heard nothing and these voices kept telling her to kill this old man.

"There is one important thing that you need to know." Ezra saw Zuri walked toward him and he approached her instead. He wanted to be sure that she got the message, that she understood this clearly.

However, little did he know the danger that he put himself in to approach Zuri when she didn’t have fully control over her mind.

"If you betrayed us like you did to your mate and your pack, I will be the one, who killed you and I will make your death miserable, you will beg for it."

Zuri’s betrayal became a point of contention, even though it helped them. You might call Ezra hypocrite, but he accepted Zuri’s act of betrayal, yet he didn’t want her because she had betrayed her family.

"I don’t care, who you are. I am going to shred your body into pieces if I sniff your betrayal and I assure you, I will know." Ezra put his hand in his pocket, but this gesture triggered Zuri. "I will not..."

Ezra didn’t have a chance to finish his word when Zuri’s hand wrapped around his neck, so fast, he didn’t see it coming, neither he could dodge it.

The next second, Zuri literally slit Ezra’s throat. Blood spurted out from the opened wounds and gurgling sound filled the air.

Ezra’s eyes widened in fear when it finally dawned on him that he was in a great danger and the woman before him was going to kill him.

Zuri’s black eyes filled with malice and killing intent.

"Yes, I don’t care, who you are too..." she said with a hiss. She relished the feeling of the warm blood that coated her hands and threw Ezra’s body away.

The old man was still alive, but he was struggling. His healing ability was fighting the death that loomed over his head, while Zuri was giggling to see the red color in her hands. She sighed with feeling to smell the metallic scent in the air.

She had done a very good job to hold herself back and have control over herself, but Ezra made it difficult for her to tone down her killing intent and ignore the noisey voices in her head.

"Do you want to kill me?" Zuri taunted, as she walked toward him. Ezra was too injured to be able to shift into his beast form and defend himself, but it didn’t mean he couldn’t mindlink someone... "Are you sure you have the ability to do it? A little old man like you want to kill me?" Zuri chuckled.

She didn’t even need to shift into her beast to take him down and she enjoyed the fear in his eyes.

"Goodbye, old man..." Zuri grinned, she knelt down beside him and was ready to severe his neck, but suddenly, she rolled her body to the side to avoid the attack.

Her instinct was incredible, as she could sense a killing intent that came from the other beast that tried to attach her earlier.

It was a brown beast with dark green eyes. Zuri recognized him. It was Caiden. She had faced him before when she was about to kill Silas and now the same thing happened again. Once again, he was in the way.

The brown beast was standing in front of dying Ezra, being protective to his old man, snarling and growling at Zuri to back off.

However, Zuri didn’t like that. She tilted her head and the voices in her head told her to kill him too.

He was only a nuisance.

He talked too much and this was the second time he disturbed her.

Zuri’s whole body was shaking when she shifted into her black beast. The color of her fur was a stark contrast from the snow that covered the ground.

Meanwhile, seeing Zuri actually shifted into her beast, Caiden was in disbelief, she was serious to fight him.

She wanted to kill them!
