Chapter 134: Silent Vow ( 134 )

Later that morning.

The sun had risen gently over the ocean horizon, casting a golden light through the curtains.

Kyouko stood in the kitchen, quietly tying her apron over a fresh set of clothes.

She moved slowly, gracefully.

But her body... was tired.

From too much sex.

And again... this morning...

Still, she cooked.

She prepared breakfast and quietly packed a small bento for Haruki, folding the napkin carefully and adding a few extra sides.

She wanted to spoil him, even if she was exhausted.

After setting the meal on the table, Kyouko brushed her hand through her hair and quietly went back toward the bedroom.

The air inside was still cool.

And there he was.

Haruki was sprawled across the bed, completely naked, half-buried under the sheets.

Kyouko paused.

Her eyes traced his sleeping form.

His peaceful face.

His chest rising slowly.

His body marked with faint red lines—her nails.

She leaned down, softly kissed his cheek.

"Darling..." she whispered sweetly, her lips grazing his ear.

He stirred faintly.

"Mmm...?"

Kyouko smiled.

She slipped under the blanket, snuggling close, and gently pulled his head to rest against her chest, letting him rest on the softness of her breast, her fingers running through his hair.

"Wake up, darling~" she whispered, sweet as honey.

"...Mmm..."

"You have work today, remember?"

His arms lazily wrapped around her waist.

"Mm-hmm... Can I take a day off?"

Kyouko chuckled softly, tracing her fingertip down his spine.

"I don’t know~ I’m not your boss~"

Haruki groaned against her skin.

"You’re worse... You made me lose my legs..."

She giggled quietly, holding him tighter.

"Then next time, don’t go so hard..."

He grinned, eyes still closed.

"You loved it."

Kyouko blushed but didn’t deny it.

Instead, she kissed the top of his head and whispered:

"Breakfast is ready... and your bento, too. So get up, my naughty boy."

"Bento?"

"Yes~ Why?" Kyouko tilted her head with a playful smile.

Haruki blinked slowly, still half-buried in the pillow, his cheek pressed against the bedsheet.

"Oh... I’ve never had anyone prepare a bento for me before..."

Kyouko leaned in, resting her chin gently on his bare shoulder.

"Now you do~" she whispered softly, giving a kiss near his ear.

Haruki smiled lazily.

His eyes were still heavy with sleep, but his heart was light.

She was too perfect.

"Wake up now~" she teased, gently tugging the blanket down his back.

"Mmm... okay..." he groaned, smiling as his eyes opened.

"Honey?" Haruki said softly, testing the word for the first time, seeing how it sounded... how it might feel between them.

Kyouko blinked.

Then smiled.

Gently.

Lovingly.

"Mm?"

"You don’t mind if I call you that here... right?"

She leaned down again, kissed his temple, and whispered:

"No, darling~"

Her voice was low and warm.

"Now wake up. Go shower, okay?"

She gently pulled his hand, coaxing him to sit up, her fingers soft and gentle in his.

Haruki slowly sat up, letting her guide him like a spoiled boy.

He could feel her soft hand.

And when he looked up again—

She was smiling.

Just for him.

After his shower, Haruki stepped out of the bathroom, his hair still damp, wearing a crisp shirt and dark slacks. He buttoned the cuffs with practiced ease but hesitated slightly as he stood in front of the mirror, trying to fix his necktie.

Haruki sighed.

Kyouko, who had just entered the room, tilted her head when she saw him struggle.

"Come here," she said softly.

Haruki turned around, letting his hands fall as she stepped close.

Kyouko’s fingers moved gracefully, adjusting the tie with practiced skill.

She looked up only once, smiling as she straightened the knot and smoothed the front of his shirt.

"There," she said, brushing her fingertips along his collar. "Now go eat."

"Mm... okay~" Haruki smiled, still watching her even as she turned away.

Together, they walked to the dining table.

Kyouko set his plate, poured tea, and gently placed his bento box near the side.

Then she sat next to him.

"Itadakimasu," they both said together.

And they started to eat—slowly, comfortably, side by side.

They ate silently, smiling between bites.

The food was warm.

The morning sunlight danced across the table.

And the quiet between them... felt peaceful.

Felt right.

Haruki glanced at her between mouthfuls, watching how her fingers moved with elegance, how her hair softly fell against her cheek.

Kyouko looked up and smiled.

"Don’t stare at me while I’m chewing," she whispered.

"Honey?" Haruki called softly as he set down his chopsticks, his tone affectionate.

"Yes?" Kyouko turned toward him, her eyes soft and curious.

"Are you going out today?"

She lightly shook her head, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Hm? No~ I’ll just exercise in the backyard like usual."

Then she smiled, a little teasing, a little knowing.

"Don’t worry," she added playfully, "I won’t be wearing that tight outfit... unless you’re around~."

Haruki chuckled, leaning back slightly with a grin.

"I didn’t say anything~."

"But you were thinking it," Kyouko said sweetly, narrowing her eyes and tapping his hand with her chopsticks.

He laughed again.

"Maaaybe..."

"You’re terrible," she said, rising to her feet to start clearing the table.

"Always thinking of naughty things this early."

As she turned, Haruki reached out and gently caught her wrist.

"I’m serious, though," he said softly.

She paused, glancing over her shoulder.

"You’re beautiful," he added. "And I get a little jealous..."

Kyouko’s eyes softened. She leaned down, giving him a gentle kiss on the forehead.

"Then don’t make me wait too long at night~," she whispered.

Haruki grinned.

"I won’t."

Inside his mind.

Only a fool would make her wait.

Only a fool would waste this.

A woman who wakes up early to cook for him.

Who gently calls him "darling."

Who knows how to listen.

Who gives her warmth, her care, her body, without a single demand.

Beautiful.

Graceful.

Loyal.

Shy but passionate.

Soft but strong.

Perfect.

She wasn’t just beautiful...

She was everything he never knew he needed.

A housewife any man would beg for.

The kind of woman who only comes once in a lifetime.

I’m not letting you go.

I won’t waste you.

I won’t let anyone else touch you.

He watched her as she rinsed the dishes at the sink, her face glowing in the morning light.

That gentle smile on her lips.

The soft sway of her hips as she moved.

The way she hummed quietly to herself without realizing he was listening.

You’re mine now, Kyouko.

And I’ll never let you be lonely again.

And I won’t give you to anyone else.

Not your kisses.

Not your hands.

Not your body in bed.

Not even a single touch.

Not even to the man who still wears the title of your husband.

Haruki’s chest tightened as he watched her from behind, the delicate curve of her back visible beneath the soft fabric of her blouse.

That man doesn’t deserve you.

He never did.

He let her wither.

Ignored her beauty.

Turned away from everything she offered.

And now?

Now Haruki had seen it.

Felt it.

Lived it.

Her smiles.

Her trembling moans.

The way her body clung to him, like it had been waiting for him all along.

She belongs to me now.

He didn’t care if it was wrong.

He didn’t care if it made him selfish.

He refused to let anyone else claim her.

Not a stranger.

Not some admirer.

Not even the man she was married to.

He wouldn’t let her go.

Wouldn’t let her be touched by anyone else.

Not anymore.

Kyouko is mine.

And I’ll make sure she knows it—every day, every night.
