Zoey stood in her room, her body radiating with a powerful crimson aura as she glanced at her Status Window. A slow exhale left her lips, her eyes body radiating with so much power. After gaining another 300 Stat Points from leveling up, Zoey distributed them equally by 75 as usual.

She felt formidable before as she was just stepping into B-Rank territory, but now? She felt way more powerful than she was yesterday, she could feel that she was now almost near the peak of B-Rank in terms of stats, but if she were to use her skills, she could confidently say that she was now an A-Rank.

’My advancement scares me, I’ve only been an Hunter for four days now.’ Zoey chuckled, the sound melodic and sweet, just as it was dangerous.

’I feel like I could win against Kyle if we were to have a rematch, but I’m not interested in fighting that guy again, I’ve already won before...though out of luck.’ She contemplated with a sigh, closing her Status Window as she stretched a bit.

’I wonder how Christine’s doing, I haven’t checked up on her in a-’ Suddenly, a knock came on her door, disrupting her thoughts. Zoey looked at her room door, raising a curious brow as she stared at it for a second.

’Who could it be? Sarina?’ Zoey thought, walking up to the door.

She grabbed the handle and opened it, her eyes that were expecting to see Sarina, suddenly widened as she saw Mira Zenith standing infront of her. Kyle Zenith’s younger sister, and the much more terrifying one.

Mira looked at Zoey, her golden eyes falling on the sight of her surprised expression. Mira’s body emanated a powerful aura, as Zoey felt a bit nervous just being in her presence, as she was an A-Rank afterall, and the Guild’s 4th Strongest Hunter of the Elite Rankings.

"Good morning, Zoey." Mira greeted, her tone professional, but not as cold and icy as it usually was.

"Oh, uhm, good morning." Zoey replied, a bit awkwardly.

"I’ve come to inform you that we’ll be starting our training today, make sure to eat breakfast and come find me in the Advanced Training Facilities. I’ll be waiting for you." Mira told her, before walking away.

’We’re starting my training? Now?’ Zoey thought, looking at her palms as she clenched them, remembering the fight between her and Kyle.

Kyle was an experienced Martial Artist, and she barely knew how to throw a good punch, and yet through sheer will she managed to somewhat keep up with him...even if her performance was terrible.

Zoey felt a bit excited, she had to admit, this was her first time she’d be going through any sort of combat training, especially when she was going to be trained by someone as strong as Mira.

"I can’t wait! Hehehe." Zoey giggled, "I need to get ready quickly!" She closed her room as she quickly started to get ready.

She took a quick shower, got dressed, and swiftly rushed towards the cafeteria. She ordered a light breakfast and soon finished it, getting up to move towards the Advanced Training Facilities.

She was extremely excited to learn, just imagining how incredible she would become after learning some combat skills, she wanted to be versatile in all areas of being a Hunter afterall.

As she continued to walk through the hallways, passing Hunters and other members of the Raging Phoenix Guild, her eyes immediately narrowed as she saw a pretty renowned party of Hunters coming towards her, with Kyle Zenith being among them.

As soon as Zoey saw him, she immediately had her guard up. She didn’t like this guy one bit, and she knew about his crappy personality, as he loved to show dominance to those ranked lower than him.

But she wasn’t going to submit to him.

Kyle’s eyes landed on Zoey as he saw her approaching them, the conversation of the group becoming silent as his eyes glowed with rage upon seeing her, his fists clenching by his sides as his body began to radiate a small golden aura.

"What’s going on?" Ray, a member of the Destruction Party asked, noticing the energy shift from Kyle. The other members felt it too, they weren’t intimidated by any means, but they were just confused as to why he was letting out such a wrathful aura.

’This girl....’ Kyle thought, his clenched fists starting to hurt by how hard he was forcing them. It took a strong amount of willpower to not go beserk and attack her right away, as he wanted to smash her face into the ground! No, he wanted to kill her!!!

Zoey and Kyle’s eyes met as they passed each other, their auras clashing as their eyes were locked in an intense clash of dominance. Zoey showed no signs of fear, her expression serious and full of determination, while Kyle looked absolutely pissed.

’Looks like he’s still holding a grudge, I need to be careful when I run into him again.’ Zoey thought, prepared to go all out if Kyle were to dare attempt something.

As they passed each other and went their separate ways, Kyle clicked his tongue in annoyance. He could feel his blood boil, and his pride ache as he decided to not fight her. He was going to have his revenge soon enough, he just needed to be patient and wait for the right moment.

The members of the Destruction Party were heavily confused, they has heard of Zoey who joined their guild a few days ago. Her A+Rank Talent and incredible potential was a hot topic in the guild, there had even been rumors of Zoey supposedly beating Kyle in a sparring match.

But that was incredibly hard to believe, as Kyle was the strongest B-Rank Hunter in their city, and someone who wouldn’t be beaten by those lower than him, and yet a D-Rank Hunter managed to beat him?

’Her? Could she have done it?’ Ray thought, looking over his shoulder as he looked at her for a moment, his eyes narrowing.

’Her aura was undeniably powerful, on the same level as Kyle’s, is she really a D-Rank? They should seriously re-evaluate her.’ Kana thought as well.

’That must’ve been the Destruction Party, they seem well acquainted with Kyle, I might need to become aware of them too.’ Zoey thought, sighing slightly.

She had heard of them before, a powerful party in their guild consisting of recently re-evaluated A-Rank Hunters. Zoey knew that if she were to go all out, she could probably take one of them on, but going against all three was something she knew she was incapable of.

’I need to get stronger.’

After a bit of walking, Zoey had arrived at the Advanced Training Facility Mira was in. She stood by the door as something incredibly interesting caught her attention. Mira was busy training by herself, punching the air and using a variety of combat techniques that truly amazed Zoey.

Her kicks and punches looked very strong, as Zoey could near the air around them break as Mira continued to practice her Martial Arts for a bit, only stopping once her eyes landed on Zoey.

"You’ve arrived, are you ready to begin learning?" Mira asked, her tone light.

"Of course!" Zoey replied, her voice full of excitement and enthusiasm.

She walked into the Advanced Training Facility, walking towards Mira. She stood a few metres from Mira, to create some space between them. Just then, Zoey’s eyes landed on figures that were in the same room as them.

’Hm? Mages? Why are they here?’ Zoey asked herself, raising a brow curiously.

"Uhm, why are there Mages here with us? Are they here to observe?" Zoey asked Mira.

"Healers, they’re healers." Mira replied, straightening her posture.

"Oh they’re Healers, I should’ve guessed." Zoey said, chuckling a little. But soon, reality crashed onto her like a meteor.

’Healers!?’ Zoey’s eyes widened as she inwardly screamed in surprise, why would they need Healers for? They were just going to do some light training right? There was really no need for them to be here, unless...

Unless they were going to sustain injuries from their training, the thought sent a cold shiver down her spine. She could barely fight against Kyle, even though he was holding back it still hurt as hell!

But now she was going to be training with someone that was way stronger than he is, and she wasn’t sure whether she was excited for it or not. She was almost a bit intimidated.

"Ready to begin, Zoey?"
