"Hehehe~" A confident chuckle left Zoey’s lips as she glared at Kyle, her muscles starting to become toned and bulging as they were filled with incredible power.

’I can win this. I just need to beat the crap out of him!’ Zoey thought with a crazy glint in her eyes, crouching down slightly before activating [Grace Of The Wind], her figure vanishing as she exploded with tremendous speed, her figure quickly appearing before Kyle.

’So fast!’ Kyle couldn’t help but grit his teeth in suprise and slight shock, but his thoughts were interrupted as Zoey’s fist slammed into his arms, which he blocked by forming a shield with them, skidding back a bit on the floor.

’Damn...that hurt.’ Kyle thought as he glanced at his arms, then at the girl who’s body was radiating with a deadly crimson energy. Her figure bolted toward him again, launching a series of punches that send pain coursing through his body with every blow.

"What’s wrong? Why aren’t you fighting back?" Zoey asked with a confident grin as she continued to hit him with quick speeds, to which he blocked everything, but she kept on going, determined to wear him out.

"Fool!" He yelled as he pushed her back with a strong counter attack of his own, but this time Zoey blocked the hit right on, shielding it with her arm once again, but this time, she wasn’t flung away. Her defenses had increased massively with [Stone Skin], and [King’s Fury] that were both active, [Hardened Will] adding onto the surge of power she gained.

"Haaa!" Zoey yelled as she launcher her fist at his face, but he quickly dodged it, a cocky grin forming on his face. He countered, sending a powerful palm attack at the crook of her neck, blowing her away as she fell to the floor, skidding across it.

"Where’s that cocky attitude of yours now?" He asked as he charged at her with quick speeds, appearing infront of her once more as he raised his fist, a golden glow wrapped around it this time, but before he could hit her, Zoey quickly jolted away, launching her body away with her arms, leaping high into the air before gracefully landing on the floor.

"Tch, damn, my attacks aren’t doing anything to him. Where as his..." Zoey glanced at her health, noticing how much damage she took as her collarbone and arms were aching heavily feeling like they could snap at any moment, and that only frustrated her.

’I’ll just blast him from far away then!’ Zoey yelled inwardly as she outstretched her palm, before activating a furious fusilade of [Fireball] activations, firing a barrage of flames at Kyle’s figure than honed on him like furious missiles.

"Hmph, pathetic." Kyle muttered to himself, his figure moving quickly as he dashed with brilliant speeds, dodging the fireballs as they exploded on the ground, shattering the floor.

’This girl....’ Mira couldn’t help but think, as her eyes were glued onto Zoey, who was firing a crazy barrage of fireballs at Kyle. She could tell, that Zoey was strong, very strong, and that deeply intrigued her.

’Her strength is massive, I’ll give her that. However, there’s one crucial thing she lacks at the moment.’ She thought, her eyes narrowing as she saw Kyle dash toward her with quick speeds, once in rage, he began to hit her with quick jabs of punches, hitting her on the face and body with advanced boxing skills.

"Ack! Guh!" Zoey’s pained wails filled the air as she was assaulted by a brutal combination of quick punches, knocking her face side to side, and all over her body.

"Hahahaha!" Kyle laughed as he continued to hit Zoey, a huge sense of satisfaction filling his veins with every hit that connected against her pretty face, before hitting her with a hard punch that send her flying across the room, skiing across the floor once again.

"Cough! Cough!" Zoey coughed as she weakly rose from the ground, panting hard, blood dripping down her mouth as she wiped it with a furious expression.

’He’s too fast, and his attacks...I can’t read them.’ Zoey thought as she could only clench her teeth in frustration, ’I don’t have any experience in hand-to-hand combat, this is such a major disadvantage for me. I...I might need to use it, to overcome this. To show that bastard.’ Zoey’s mind was taken over by rage and pride as the [King’s Fury] Skill soared higher and higher, the aura growing more and more powerful as she decided to go all out.

’Haaaaaa!!!’ Zoey yelled inwardly as she felt the power inside her multiplying rapidly, her eyes glowing a demonic crimson as her body soared with power, she had entered....the Beserk State.

Mira’s eyes widened immediately as she noticed the aura around Zoey intensifying to heights far beyond what she had imagined, her power soaring incredibly high as the ground started to tremble as a powerful roar escaped Zoey’s lungs.

’That Skill...oh no...I must stop this at once!’ Mira thought, but what happened next, shocked her beyond disbelief. The figure of Zoey dissapeared quickly as he appeared infront of Kyle with speeds that far outmatched his.

"Kyle! Watch out!" Mira yelled as she moved quickly, dissapearing into a blur of motion as she quickly appeared by Zoey’s side and was about to hit her, but stopped when she saw the aura that consumed her whole, the monstrous expression of rage on her face, being replaced with...Struggle.

Zoey’s fist was mere inches away from delivering a powerful smash to Kyle’s face, but had stopped mere inches from him as she restrained herself, stopping herself from hitting him.

"No....this isn’t me...I’m not a monster..." Zoey spoke underneath her breath, her body trembling great effort as she had barely conquered the Beserk State. Her mind was filled with rage and bloodlust, and felt like her body had been possessed by a demon itself the moment the state was active.

She felt like killing, like causing havoc, and beating Kyle to a bloody pulp, but that wasn’t who she was. She wasn’t a killer, she wasn’t one to cause chaos, and she wasn’t ever the revenge type, she needed to calm down and breathe.

’This....this girl.’ Mira could only stare at Zoey as she calmed herself down, she couldn’t believe it. This sparring match definetly answered a ton of questions for her, as she now knew of the absurd strength Zoey held, and the crazy potential many would kill for.

"You brat!" Kyle’s voice roared as he took Zoey’s arm and grabbed onto it tightly, before tossing her over his shoulder and crashing her hard on the ground with brutal force, causing her to cough a mouthful of blood as the ground beneath them cracked.

"Kyle!" Mira’s angry voice boomed, before she quickly moved and delivered a strong blow to his face that sent him crashing into the ends of the Training Facility, his figure rising from the rubble.

"The sparring match is finished!" Mira said as she glared at Kyle with bloodlust in her eyes, as if swearing that she would kill him herself if he tried anything like that again.

"Are you okay?" Mira asked gently as she kneeled down beside Zoey, sliding her arm beneath her waist and lifting her up gently. She had a worried expression on her face, which confused Zoey as she was the woman who glared at him when she first came here.

’I guess people’s opinions do change when they see worth in you.’ Zoey thought, before nodding slightly.

"Yeah, I’m fine. Thank you." Zoey smiled softly, even though her whole body throbbed with pain, her mind still a hazy mist from the gruelling effects of the [King’s Fury] Beserk State.

’I thought I could control it, but I guess I was wrong.’ Zoey thought, a sense of dissapointment creeping into her soul. The power was too much, 1.5x the power at the cost of her sanity was too much of a prize to pay, she needed to get stronger to avoid this from happening ever again.

She sighed as she glanced at Kyle who was getting up from the ground, a pissed off expression on his face. He angrily walked towards Zoey and Mira, his golden eyes glowing bright as stars as his body burst into golden flames, the floor trembling slightly as he yelled.

"How dare you interrupt me!" He roared, clenching his fists at his sides. Zoey felt her body froze as she could feel the body radiating off of him, she felt the air itself hot with his power, a feeling so strong that it felt like it could suffocate her.

"The sparring match is over, Kyle. The girl won, you lost, accept it." Mira said, her voice carrying an air of domaninance that dwarfed his. He grumbled under his breath, his rage palpable, but he knew she was right, that he had lost out of a moment of carelessness.

’This girl...’ He thought as his eyes glared at Zoey, his aura dissipating as he made his way towards the door out of the Advanced Training Facilities. He stopped for a moment, turning to glance at her one more time, as if promising that this encounter between them wasn’t over.

’I’ll make sure to remember you, Zoey Monroe.’

Zoey watched him leave out of the Advanced Training Facility, her mind a throbbing mess as a headache formed. She clutched her face, a pained groan escaping her lips.

’Damn...I didn’t think pushing myself so much could hurt this bad...’ Zoey thought.

’....’ Mira glanced at the girl in her arms, she could definitely tell that Zoey’s potential was massive. Her proficiency in mastering Skills was way beyond genius, as she saw a glimpse of herself in Zoey as she could tell that if Zoey was taught on how to fight properly, on how to sharpen her combat skills and magical usage, she’d be an unstoppable force.

And she might find a rival in her...

’This girl is worth teaching, If she was taught on how to fight properly, she might even surpass Kyle and take his place, or....go far beyond that.’ She thought with a deep contemplative expression, but her thoughts were interrupted by the voice of Sarina behind her.

"Ho ho ho! This is facinating!" She said with an excited voice, her eyes roaming on the destruction caused by their sparring match, before her eyes landed on Zoey, an amused chuckle escaping her lips.

"Hehe~There you are, my rising star~"
