"Hmm? We're moving?" Keith placed his cup down as he stared at Scarlet. It was an intriguing request the demon princess proposed. 

Scarlet nodded, "You heard me. I've been thinking about it, you shouldn't stay here. It doesn't suit you." 

"Eh? It doesn't suit me?" This comment took Keith aback. 

Scarlet commented, “You should be resting in an open field rather than somewhere so restricting." 

“...” Fair. Keith wasn’t going to deny that. He preferred a place with open areas and fresh plants. Waking up to fresh air was the best. 

"Where are we going then?" She should have a place in mind since she suggested it. 

“Of course!” Scarlet smiled as she held his hand, “Follow me. Eri, come with us." The fox girl waddled over with the furballs behind her. Eri grasped her other hand as they headed off. It took some time before they arrived at the new location. 

"Do you have to cover my eyes?" Keith sighed as his eyes were covered.

"I want to surprise you." 

"What about Eri?" This action should be more so for Eri than for him. 

"Has to be more for you." Scarlet smiled, "Now, walk a few more steps." 

"Hah, okay." Keith sighed as he followed her directions.

“Tada!” Keith's eyes were uncovered, and he started to glance around. An excellent and vibrant flower field was before him! Eri couldn’t help but mumble, 

“Pretty.” From what he could tell, there were beautiful flowers spread across a couple of acres. 

"What is this place?"

"It's a garden house that's branched off from the castle. It's been here for quite some time. Only a few individuals and I are allowed to enter here." 

"Is it okay for me to be here?" It seemed exclusive. Probably to royalty? 

Scarlet pointed her chin upwards, "This place is under my name. So I can do whatever I want." 

"..." Is that a good thing? 

“Here, no one gets to bother you. Also, you have so much room where you can play around as well!” Scarlet smiled as she winked at Eri. 

Fira flew up, “Let’s go, Eri!” 

“Okay!” That was when she started to chase around. Keith couldn’t help but warn, “Eri, don't run so fast. Be careful!”

“Okay!”

“It’s fine, she won’t get hurt.” Scarlet chuckled. 

“Is it really alright for us to use it?”

“Of course." Scarlet held his hand. 

"Thank you so much for this." Keith whispered into her ears, "I know you did it because of what they said." Scarlet was not a fool. Of course, she would notice the off-putting looks the maids directed him. He even heard about how some were sent away. 

"It's fine. Also, I didn't want Eri to see all of that." Eri probably didn't realize it. However, sooner or later, she would. She didn't want her to witness such a situation. 

"Papa!" Eri quickly returned as she tugged his pants, "House!" 

"Hmm?" 

"Ahh," Scarlet grinned, "Follow me. She found the mansion." The trio continued to walk deeper into the garden, where they found a beautiful house. 

"We can stay here. There’s even a special room for you to cook.”

“Special room?”

“Well, I don’t know what it was used for. But there’s a stove, so you can use it to cook there.” 

“...” Keith’s ears twitched. A stove! That meant he could cook here! It was awkward for him to go and ask them. It was clear they didn’t want him to touch their stuff. 

“Alrighty, then I will stay here.” 

“Me too!” 

“Huh?” 

Keith headed to the kitchen; the first thing he noticed was how dusty the area was! No one definitely used it. There were cobwebs in the corner! As he cleaned, he noticed some books on the shelf. They didn't look like cookbooks. Are you sure this is a kitchen? This felt more like a lab with the test tubes on the shelves. 

Keith didn’t know what to say as he started to work. 

“So can you work here?” 

“Of course.” Keith cracked his neck as he brought out his ingredients, “Are you fine with rice?” It was time for him to cook. Keith thought about it, “Let’s go with something healthy since I have purple rice.” 

“Yippe!” Scarlet and Eri were nestling close to the pot, which caused Keith to laugh. But while they were talking, “My, my, that’s quite an aromatic smell.” Lilith entered here as well. 

“Grandma.” 

“Lady Lilith, do you want to join us?” 

“Of course.” The group slowly started to eat the rice. It was each one a little more mushy and tender. Keith continued to savor each bite happily.

“Ahh, there’s some rice on your cheek.” Scarlet quickly took the rice off and plopped it into her mouth before Keith could say anything. Keith pinched her cheek, “Cheeky.”

“So what?” Scarlet stuck out her tongue as she continued to eat. Lilith chuckled when she saw that. She’s just like them. There was a warm smile as she watched. It was such a loveable scene.
