Keith nodded as he held Eri as they walked. The three decided not to take the carriage and to savor the scenery. Well, it was more of Keith and Eri doing this. What interesting buildings. The demon kingdom has a darker and medieval ambiance to it. 

However, it didn't feel out of place as it fit pretty well. 

"Want to buy some ingredients first?" Scarlet smiled. 

“Of course!” Keith grinned as he followed her. But that was when she latched her arms around his.

Keith tilted his head, “Hmm? What are you doing?”

"Can't I do this? I've been meaning to do something for quite some time now. There's no Carolyn and Alfia to stop me either." The two princesses would definitely have an issue with this. They would practically throw her out the door if they saw this.

However, they were not here at the moment. 

"..." 

"Also, if I act as your wife, no one is going to bother you." Besides her wants, she understood the situation. She understood how the other demon-kin would react to Keith. Having her here would lessen the blow. 

"Understood!" Keith couldn't win against sound logic! It was a win-win situation for him. Plus, he was too eager to find out new ingredients. 

"Food," Eri muttered; she could see it in his eyes. Hearing his acceptance, Scarlet got close and leaned on his shoulder like what couples do. 

“Sweetie, let's go get us some vegetables. Eri, come to mommy's arms!” She didn't wait for Eri's response as she scooped her up. Well, Eri didn't mind it as she hugged comfortably in her arms. Keith held Mir and Lei in his other hand. They headed to the first stall. 

“Hello”

“Why-princess!” Before he even had the chance to curse him out, they noticed Scarlet beside him. No need to say, as he knew who she was! 

Keith glanced at the ingredients before him. As he stared, he recognized a couple of things. There was cinnamon. However, there was something he recognized.

Passion fruit. Interesting. That was one item Keith was definitely going to buy. As he continued to inspect the food, the demon sellers didn't dare let out a squeal. Having Scarlet, there was enough; one word from her, and they would be gone. 

“Oh, you guys have purple rice as well.” He smiled, “I will take the lot.” Purple rice was slightly different from regular rice. 

“Rice?” Eri tilted her head when she heard this. She was an avid rice lover. Keith smiled, “Mmhmm, it’s rice.” That was something he was quite curious about. 

While the two talked, what they didn’t realize was someone following behind them.

One of the knights muttered, “Prince, I don’t think this is a good idea.” And you’re about to break the wall. The demon prince held onto the wall so tightly that it'd break any moment! 

“That damn bastard! How dare he hook his arms around my sister like they're a married couple?!” I knew it! He was trying to seduce my sister! I should have ended him on the spot!

This was a breaking point beyond breaking points!

He was going to do something about this. Keith and the two continued shopping and looked around, not noticing what was happening behind them. 

“Want!” Eri then noticed something interesting. 

“Then I’ll-” 

“I’ll buy it.” Scarlet stepped forward and paid before Keith could do anything about it. 

"I could have bought it." 

“Of course, I have to buy it for my favorite.” Scarlet smiled while Eri hugged it, “Thank you for it, Big sister Scarlet.”

“...” There was definitely a heart being shot right now. Keith smiled, “Let’s go home now. I think I found enough.” He found two interesting ingredients. Returning home, they had a meal.

Lilith smiled, "Keith, did you find our kingdom pleasant?" 

“Mmhmm, it was good.” Keith nodded, “It was a beautiful place." Each kingdom was different from the other. He was eager to explore the others. 

Eri raised it up, “Scarlet bought me this!”

“That’s beautiful.” Lilith smiled as she noticed what was there. Keith and the others were happy and continued talking with one another. However, there was someone who continued to glare at him. 

"...Is there something the matter?" Keith asked. That glare was too apparent from Tharaziel. 

"Hmm?" Scarlet's eyes narrowed at the man. Instantly, that glare of a lion turned into a puppy. 

"Hehe." Lilith couldn't help but let out a chuckle as they ate.
