Chapter 138: Arix Rampaged

Chapter 138: Arix Rampaged

"Stop... stop..." Arix mumbled unconsciously, unable to hear Cassian’s calls. Her mind seemed trapped in a dark, silent room.

Large drops of blood began to fall from the sky, splattering on the floor. The sight of the blood red made Arix’s eyes snap open.

She looked up at the sky, seeing Drexel’s heavily injured state.

"Drexel! Nooo!" Arix’s emotions collapsed, and her Supergiant+ psychic power exploded, sweeping out like a shockwave.

The nearby students, unaware of what was happening, were blasted dozens of meters away by the terrifying psychic power, only stopping when they hit the walls.

"Ugh!" The training ground was filled with the sounds of countless people coughing up blood.

IRMA’s mentors, despite being injured, immediately stood up and shouted, "Get out of the training ground! Someone’s psychic power is out of control!"

"Hurry, go! The Alliance exchange student’s psychic power is out of control!"

"Oh my God! Run!!!"

"Drexel is crazy, and so is his sister! This year’s Alliance exchange students are cursed!"

The training ground turned into chaos, with people running for their lives or making sarcastic comments.

Some fearless ones even took out their opticomputers to record videos and upload them to the campus network.

The instant Arix’s psychic power rampage hit, the campus network went wild. The buzz over these posts even eclipsed the earlier excitement about Drexel and Kares’ battle.

"Terrifying! Alliance exchange student loses control, hurts all teachers and students present!"

"Suspected Supergiant+ psychic power from the Alliance exchange student!"

"Nightmare day at IRMA! The insane Alliance exchange student!"

The comment sections were on fire too.

LuckyKoi: "Demolishing the Empires best military academy? Nice try, Alliance people!"

Quakqook: "What’s going on? Why did the exchange student suddenly have a psychic power rampage?"

Pinkbear: "I was there! It’s probably because her brother got beaten too badly."

Raccoooon: "Was Kares that brutal?"

Pinkbear: "No... Kares got beaten up pretty badly too... you should have seen the battlefield, it was covered in his scales... but the saddest part is he doesn’t have a sister to feel sorry for him."

Pinkbear: "Pfft! Hahaha! Don’t twist the knife with your words."

Back at the training ground, the only ones left were a few mentors. They were anxiously watching the rampaging Arix.

Arix’s initial psychic outburst caught Cassian off guard and injured many Empire military students. Luckily, he soon managed to contain the rest of her rampage with his own psychic power barrier.

"Arix! Wake up!" Cassian was pouring out psychic power while trying to wake Arix.

"Drexel..." Arix mumbled, her mind fixated on entering the dimensional battlefield to save her brother and kill the dragon attacking him. The thought of that dragon only fueled her stress, making her attacks on the psychic barrier even stronger.

Cassian’s psychic power barrier, while temporarily containing Arix, was under immense strain, nearly breaking multiple times. He didn’t want to harm Arix, so he held back from forcefully suppressing her, and instead, he reinforced the barrier constantly, trying to figure out what to do next.

"Your Highness! What should we do?" The mentors, whose psychic power levels were insufficient, could only watch helplessly.

"Go to the dimensional battlefield and stop the fight. Get Drexel here immediately," Cassian quickly ordered. He understood what caused Arix’s rampage.

"Got it, got it!" The mentor quickly caught on to Cassian’s plan. Arix’s rampage was clearly triggered by her brother’s injury.

With this in mind, the mentor hurriedly used their opticomputer to contact Rennes, instructing him to immediately halt the match and bring Drexel over.

Rennes, having just received the urgent message, felt his head spinning.

He looked at Drexel, who had torn into Kares so fiercely that the ground was littered with scales.

Thinking about Arix outside, apparently causing her own kind of havoc, made Rennes feel even more dizzy.

Without wasting any time, he used his referee authority to separate the still-battling pair.

The two were still caught up in their frenzy. The sudden end to the fight left both combatants glaring at Rennes with murderous intent.

"Today’s match is over. Arix is in trouble, and you need to..." Rennes hadn’t even finished his sentence when Drexel disappeared on the spot.

Once the chaos of today was over, he was definitely going to have a talk with the president about reassigning these two Alliance exchange students. Otherwise, he wasn’t sure if he’d survive the week!

...

On the training ground...

Drexel, drenched in blood, bolted over from the dimensional battlefield. The first thing he saw was his sister, Arix, pounding on a psychic power barrier, seemingly oblivious to everything around her.

"Arix!" Drexel shouted, his voice laced with worry.

At the sound of her brother’s voice, Arix halted her attack. The psychic energy enveloping her started to settle down.

Cassian, noticing this, began to relax. But then Kares emerged from the dimensional battlefield.

"What happened? Where is everyone?" Kares asked, confusion etched on his face as he scanned the deserted training ground.

"Uh-oh!" Cassian’s eyes widened in alarm. Before he could move, Arix shattered the psychic power barrier and charged straight at Kares.

"Watch out!" Cassian shouted, panic in his voice.

"Arix!" Drexel echoed, eyes filled with concern for his sister.

Kares, hearing the commotion, turned to face them. He barely had time to register the sight of Arix flying at him before her fierce psychic power slammed into him.

"Ugh...!"

Blood sprayed from Kares’s mouth as he was hurled against the wall like a rag doll.

Crumpling to the ground, Kares coughed and spat blood, terror filling his eyes as Arix prepared to strike again. It was bad enough dealing with her brother, but Arix was a psychic-powered Supergiant!

"Help!" Kares yelled, desperate for assistance against the unstoppable force.

The nearby mentors hesitated, but Cassian intervened.

"No need!" Cassian said quickly.

"But Kares..." one mentor began, concerned as Kares took another blow.

"He’ll be fine. He won’t die," Cassian reassured, relaxing as if he’d figured something out. He exchanged a knowing glance with Drexel, and the two of them simply watched.

"Drexel, what are you doing? Do something! Stop your sister!" Kares said as he dodged another attack. He looked pleadingly at them, only to see Cassian and Drexel observing like it was entertainment.

"My sister? She’s fine," Drexel replied innocently, glancing at Arix. She seemed a bit ruffled but otherwise okay.

"Of course your sister is fine, but can’t you see I’m in trouble?!" Kares’s patience snapped.

"Oh, you’re in trouble?" Drexel asked. He feigned sudden realization, covering his mouth in mock surprise.

Kares was about to breathe a sigh of relief, thinking Drexel finally understood, but Drexel’s next words angered him even more.

"But you’re not my sister. Why should I care if you’re in trouble?" Drexel asked seriously, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"You guys!" Kares barely managed to shout before Arix’s psychic power blasted him again.

For several more minutes, Kares endured a relentless barrage, his face swelling until he looked unrecognizable.

"Alright, alright! What do you want? Just tell me already!" Kares finally broke down, his spirit crushed.

Drexel’s lips curled into a smile. Leisurely, he said, "Can the Dragon clan apologize to HMA now?"

"Yes, yes!" Kares agreed instantly, desperate for the onslaught to end.

"And about that last fight, who won? You or me?" Drexel’s eyes sparkled with amusement.

"You won!" Kares spat out the words, gritting his teeth in frustration.

"And today’s damages, who’s going to pay for them?" Drexel asked, chuckling softly.

"I’ll pay! I’ll pay! Happy now?" Kares glared at Drexel, trembling with rage.

Never in his life had he met siblings as shameless as these two!

Seeing Kares’s pitiful state, even Drexel felt a twinge of guilt. He quickly ran over and hugged Arix, stopping her from attacking further.

"Arix, that’s enough. No more fighting," Drexel gently comforted her, holding her tightly.

Amazingly, Arix seemed to calm down, her anger dissipating.

Kares sighed in relief, feeling safe at last.

With the situation under control, Drexel was internally delighted but outwardly feigned annoyance. "See? If you had agreed earlier, none of this would have happened. You youngsters, always making things difficult."

Kares, unable to take it anymore, coughed up blood and fainted, overwhelmed by the siblings’ antics.

Drexel swallowed what he was going to say and sighed. ’Wow, Kares is really sensitive.’

Arix, still in Drexel’s arms, looked dazedly at the unconscious Kares. She turned to Drexel, her eyes clear. She had regained her senses earlier but had pretended to be out of control to help her brother get revenge.

But now, she started to wonder if they had gone too far today.
