Also they don't have the main character deep conviction like Nephis but anyhow g3 definitely put these guys in here as some sort of contrast to our main trio.

In a way Sin of Solace acted like a guardian angel in the Third Nightmare by keeping Mad Prince a little humane.. Of course he also corrupted Sunny to become Mad Prince numerous times as well so in a sense he was both a blessing and a curse. Wait why does that kinda sound like [fated]
The Onyx helmet is part of the Onyx Mantle.. He didn't summon the full armor earlier because he was using Weaver's Mask. The Mantle is just a physical manifestation of his Onyx Shell Attribute so he can shift it any way he wants.
