I think he feels powerless he couldn't do anything against Megose. captain died he had to leave Benson and mellisa and then after he was starting to adjust the Great Smog happened and he lost people again not being able to save anyone and now the war is happening and he is still powerless.....
I sometimes forget that he comes from quite a peaceful world and now he has to deal with God's plotting and people trying to kill him on the daily basis......

I had always thought the Megose incident affected Klein the most, but now I feel like it's the Great Smog of Backland. I didn't realise it back then, but now with the war and everything I can really see just how much the great smog affected him. There's so much sadness and melancholic in this chapter, being reminded of the fates old Kohler and Freja and Liv breaks my heart
We're saying goodbye to the Dantes identity now? I wonder what's his next indentity, or will he just use Gerhman Sparrow's. Probably not, considering Zaratul and all
