It is because there parents made a promise so they thought seriously about that, after that there is basically 0 love at all. Nor did they ever fucking make an arragement to marry each other later on it was a joke. The writing improves dramatically as everyone fucking says but you turn a blind eye to that, there is no point I think arguing with you since you made up your mind reading only the first fucking chapters. if by chance you ever reach chapter 175 you would understand but ig you dont got the fucking patience for build ups

The novel has an unreliable narrator meaning you cant trust anything that is said and there is so much plot twists so anything you just said never even happened.
