Well, I suppose you could consider infodumb some things in the early stages of cultivation. In my opinion, the really interesting stuff in cultivation starts at the Star Shattering stage, though you should pay more attention from the Four Axis stage onwards, as that's when the manipulation of 'attraction force' begins, and the Integration stage ,that is about dealing with the fundamentals of 'Immortal Arts' through attraction force, which both concepts are very interesting throughout the chapters, and important for the rest of the novel. Still, other stages from the Minor Boundary are referenced sometimes, such as the Heavenly Being stage, or rather, 'they complement' with the upper stages.

I will keep that in mind. But this novel is impossible to reread imo because of the constant info dumbs or information this novel has.
If after several months you decide to come back to read and start with a advanced chapter, I don't recommend it, for the story, the power system and the revelations, this novel has much more foreshadowing than you might think

Low key this novel is repetitive after he gets into the heavenly being stage. I think ima wait til the novel is complete then finish it.
Literally, the most unique and incredible thing about this novel's power system is its martial arts, based on intention and heart. Like, when have you ever seen that? Even if there are novels that try to do the same thing, I'm sure this is the only one where it's so important and develops so much throughout. I'm on the premium 660+ chapters and things about this power are still being revealed. This guy is just ragebaiting without even reading 10% of this novel.

what are you even talking about... horrible way of writing fights? please elaborate? I don't see anything wrong about the ways to get stronger either. What's this about martial arts being about emotions? Are we even reading the same book, it was for one phase of the story which you clearly haven't read that he focuses on learning the emotions of others in order to understand 'intents' and the mcs way of martial arts is more about 'connections'
complaining about how he ran crying? first off, that's an exaggeration and that just proves his humanity. At this point, he really isn't strong, he lived far longer than almost everyone else in his area, only to fall short of them due to his 'bad talent', what do you expect him to do, gain enlightenment out of nowhere like it's some trash novel, or be a cringy edgelord?
Don't pay attention to the guy before me. He is exaggerating. this novel got 4.9 with +200 reviews in another website,so you should try it.
1 The fights are confusing at first, but they get much better over time
2 The guy says that in martial arts, you get carried away by emotions, which he says is horrible.I guess he'd like a random system that gives skills to the mc through a magic shop. The martial arts in this novel are very much based on intention, with which you can predict your opponent's attacks and movements. From that point on,progress in martial arts is unique to each person, meaning each person achieves their own enlightenment through introspection of their life. It's not something random that's simply touched on in the martial arts at the beginning. It's something that develops throughout the entire novel.

I am in search of a good novel to read, the last 2 I read left me both unsatisified. I remember seeing this at top 10 always in other novel reading sites too. Could I get a small rundown (mini spoilers are welcome too, they motivate me to keep reading).
I understand how you feel. At times, I felt sad for the mc or frustrated that nothing was going right for him. However, I recommend giving it another chance. I recommend reading it at least until the end of the middle realm, since the mc finally achieve some goals he had, and it's one of the best arcs in the entire novel and personally my favorite. I also think that until the most recent ch there is no moment that can be compared to the cycle that probably made you want to drop it. If you still feel that way even up to that point, you can drop it or read it when the whole novel is translated. But I highly recommend reading until then and maybe you might be missing out on truths, mysteries, characters, endings, and other incredible elements that this novel still has to show.

(2) It feels like the author is making our MC make some very stupid decisions that feel so out of place from the way the MC should normally think based upon whats already set as precedent just to continue that feeling of dread and hopelessness. This style of writing isnt my vibe honestly. Normally I'd keep pushing through a novel but was spoiled with what happens within 50 chapters of chapter 366, and knowing that nothing changes I don't think our MC will ever be happy just because the author is pulling BS to keep him sad and continue that drama. Maybe once this novel finishes, if pirating is still around at that time, I will finish this novel but I feel I'm done for now.
TLDR: This novel is HEAVILY drama based with feelings of loss, hopelessness and dread. It feels the author is just making up BS to keep our MC sad as of chp 366. If you are looking for a regressing/transmigrating/time looping MCs like TPR, MOL, ORV, TLM MCs skip this novel, you won't find them here.
This is one of my favorite chapters. The philosophy of this novel is very different from most cultivation novels, but at the same time, it's incredible. In this ruthless world, even though becoming a mass murderer and trampling others seems like the best way to reach the top, Seo maintains his heart, gives it a meaning, and even makes it part of his power, his Dao.
Peak fight

The amount of information this novel has, especially considering the number of chapters, and the amount of theories that can be made from it is crazy.
