This place kinda reminds me of the Forsaken Land of Gods, City of Silver in LOTM where it is also shrouded in darkness although there is lighting with humans turning into monsters.
Remember the beach scene and the riddle he played with the rest of the group of him an his shadow. Only one tells truth the other tells lies. That was foreshadowing for this item.
Note that the word "Daemon" is used here. Its an ancient greek word, and while it is the origins of the common engliah word "Demon", they have opposite meanings. A Daemon is a benevolent protector spirit and sometimes messenger of the gods, so his usage here is perfect. It's also a nice contrast from the chronic misuse of the word, particularly by people that just want to sound esoteric.
Ayo that was unnecessary 😭
You're denser than sunny, that's crazy
Bros tired of this arc 😭
[Cassie's Prophecy Analysis]
'At first, I saw a… a boundless darkness locked behind seven seals'
--refers to the Dark Sea (Churning Darkness) was once locked.
'Something vast was churning in the darkness. I felt like if I directly saw it, I would lose my mind'
--It was like the 'Don't look' scene when they burned the Carapace Demon.
'I watched, terrified, the seals broke one after another, until only one remained. And then that seal broke, too'
-- As depicted in the mural, the Dark Sea escaped.
'It was as though my mind shattered into a thousand shards, each shard reflecting its own image'
--shard refers to 'soul shard'. It refers to people (with memories) being sacrificed into Unnamed Goddess.
'Most of them were dark and scary. Some I have already forgotten. The other…'
--Unnamed Goddess succumbed to madness with the staggering amount of souls and memories inside her.
Note: Cassie was having a vision in the perspective of the Unnamed Goddess
Funny enough it's a novel
d*mn, they need to kill a sun

Give it to Neph and she'll feel intense pleasure instead of pain.🗿
