😭😭😭 My motivation to read has decreased by 50% again. I begun primordial villain a couple days ago and I read 100 chapters. Typical Jp Isekai novel written by a western. Has all the bad elements and none of the good ones. That one gets better at 300 chapters (heard from everhunt). Now I read this, 30 chapters are meh, and you say that it's garbage, so it doesn't get better😭. What luck is this, 2 bad novels back to back.
It's alright. Currently I have read enough to know that this is garbage.

I touched some grass for a couple of hours. I'll continue reading and then write a review soon. It has around 200 chapters so it should not take a lot of time if I lock in. There have been some new comments though focusing on the negatives of this novel. Do check them out in the comment section. Could highlight the decisive factors for you.
There's another thing that's really bugging me. So I am gonna say it. I saw some of the reviews and comments. People are saying this novel is quite realistic. You know what doesn't sound realistic? A whore choosing an ugly fat f*ck over a rich handsome dude. And don't you dare say it's because Samael was a bad guy. Samael and Lily knew each other since they were children. She should've known what Samael was going through. I mean she is supposed to be a really kind character who fights for what's right no? She even knew Samael kinda liked her. Yet she still went behind his back and kissed that ugly f*ck. And you know what's even more weird is that I think I would have been less bothered by it if it was the other way around and she kissed Sam instead. And to add insult to injury Samael is trying to suck up to the same guy who stole his girlfriend. And the other guy still doesn't care. WHAT IN THE ACTUAL f*ck?
The thing that infuriated me the most is Samael trying to suck up to Michael. Why is he even doing that? That makes no sense considering his personality. Also I really don't understand why every single fucking time in novels like these the mc always is like" I need the protagonist to save the world. So I better not get in his way". The only thing he thinks about is survive.

in the first half of the story. mc is actually thinking and working hard but after first half author droped mc's personality in drain.
he made him overly narcissistic and edy. he tries to be sarcastic but i honestly feel this is just another emo kid trying hard and wtf is with novel's mc, like seriously they just bicker like two teenage lovesick girls who d*ckshared same man.
they are trying to reconcile them into comrades or something.
he has not done anything to get back at Michael or his ex, instead he is trying to mediate or form some kind of bondship over him.
anything other than revenge he has only helped him get stronger and nothing more. michael is way too overpowered in this sense like our mc tries to master a technique he takes 7-8 months but michael masters it in a day like it's nothing.
hope for some romance and settle feud with his sis and her royal lackeys
I gave this novel a chance and trust me rank 8 is way out of it's league. It doesn't deserve to be in the top 10. Maybe top 100. Even then it might be a stretch. Some of you guys are over hyping this too much. There are other novels out there that deserve better ranking than this. The only feeling I got from reading this is frustration. But now I only feel regret for reading this. Also there's fucking NTR. The thing that I hate the most

-a story where the tension feels manufactured and the plot lazy. Character interactions feel like monologues, It’s like the MC is talking to himself most of the time, They lack depth and distinction, and it robs the narrative of any meaningful dynamics.
And then there’s Juli, the supposed manipulative goddess. The narration tries so hard to paint her as this cunning mastermind, but every mention just comes off as cringeworthy and corny. It’s hard to take her seriously when the writing oversells her menace without delivering substance ( not showing what she's capable.) Lastly, one of the most frustrating elements is how the MC has to suck up to the protagonist of the original world. Yes, I understand why, it makes sense, but it doesn’t make it fun. It feels like lazy tension
In the end, it’s like watching a brilliant actor stuck in a garbage script

Tbh me too. It didn't live up to the hype some people were giving it. For me the reason is that the characters seem really frustrating. So that's why I am asking everyone questions to see if it's really worth it to read this. What chap are you at right now?

Since you are already ahead of me I have a question. Does lily really have no feelings for Samael? I mean was it really an accident kissing Michael as she says it is? Also does Samael keep running from Michael everytime he sees him? I want an mc who can hold his ground against others in a fight and eventually beat them. I understand before he was weaker but I hope it doesn't stay that way for long.
