Actually better than I thought. More of a turn your brain off and enjoy the drama, but the plot and story isn't that bad. Mostly just and OP protagonist going around and enchanting lots of woman as well as face-slapping some others but the drama and relationships isn't bad and is kept light hearted, a nice break from the intricate depths that other novels go into.

Also keep in mind that the cultivation path is roughly divided into seven realms:

Foundation Establishment, Golden Elixir, Nascent Soul, Spirit Severing, Profound Connection, Incarnated God, and Transcending the Seven Realms of Tribulation.

Each realm has four sub-realm: Early, Middle, Late and Perfect.

They might add more later on but these are the initial ones, and all you need to know for the moment.
