The God of Fire only bound hope to chains, as for Solvane I'm guessing he was somehow affected by the chains and the knife was a recreation of the 2 originals which the other guy said is meant to kill immortals which is probably correct

Sooo, the God of Fire linked seven chains to seven immortals. If that's true, why is Solvane alive? The chains are broken, no? Hope escaped without breaking one? Breaking the chains does not affect the Immortals, only vice-versa? That is such an unnecessarily complicated way to chain hope, was the God of Fire bored?
The knife is a real mystery. We can assume it also has a string of fate creating a perfect loop, what does that mean? An endless cycle? Of what? Of a life? Is it what made Solvane immortal? Is it the only thing that can kill the ones tied to the seven chains? If so, 2 immortals are still alive
