I actually read it for the peak fight scenes but for you to be heavily invested in it , you actually have to go through 2 major arcs which are not per se bad but not as good as what comes after, after that 600-700 chapters are very peak .

Ok here is a list of novels I've read that are all at least greater than a 4.6/5
The novels here are novels you probably haven't seen but are unique in their own way(mc abilities are different or the setting is unique.)
Seoul Object Story: A world filled with many objects (anonymous beings or objects) the mc dies and becomes an object.
The Artist Who Paints Dungeon: Weird op mc where the mc doesn't really know their op. The mc is a painting but he can leave the painting.
1 Second Invincibility in the Game: This is just funny, the mc acts like a straight villain, and the way he survives is fun to read.
Water Magician: A Japanese novel but no harem, yay. I put this here because it's good and you don't see many water mages. Mc also uses a sword for close combat. It's also getting an anime this summer
Tree of Aeons: Out of the "I Became a Tree" novels this one's good because he isn't simply power leveling every chapter. Quite a fun read and is rereadable
i have this bad habit of hating a character based on the first impressions, like with selina. I dont know how but i have to stop doing this.
What a braindead director
