Jelousy is truly the bane of man to accuse me of arrogance while I was just being humble and kindly asked why Mortals would respond to comments they didn't read that had nothing to do with them truly your insecurities are showing to be so offensive against me who has not even insulted you why are you so keen on making enemies instead of resolving what you deemed a conflict peacefully? perhaps you didn't even read my comment...
I ain't reading the whole comment but your probably true with the flaw preventing him on becoming the main villain.
Like imagine an orphan that lives a life full of suffering and then being pushed through a nightmare that remands him of his insignificance and expect him on not crashing out.
Then there's this system that essentially makes the clans overlords and gatekeeps the path to ascension.
So yeah sunny would gladly burn the world if didn't get that flaw.

Hot take: If it wasn't for Sunny's flaw being to keep him from lying he'd be the final villain Neph would have to fight before finally destroying the Forgotten God.
Think about it. If Neph wasn't thirsty for some Shadow Penis she'd have killed him to preserve humanity already. She'd hunt him down to the ends of the earth even more than Mordret and Skinwalker just to kill him.
In the forgotten shore arc Neph copied Sunny's personality, especially how to lie and interact with people. That was only possible because Sunny could not lie. If he could lie Neph would've never been able to even guess what he's like and would've never gotten such a high opinion about him. That's where her feelings for him all started.
It would've eventually lead to there being an insurmountable distance between them in their relationship created by a mountain of lies and deception. Sunny would essentially become what Asterion was to the rest of Broken Sword's cohort.
MC's practically has the same ability as ryu's mysteries of heaven and earth pupils(GAB) and I'm loving it ๐ฉ

Ah the classic *is he still human* line
