Anton was so grateful that his Vigor Aura from the rune word bow Harmony allowed him to stay awake without feeling any sleepiness or tiredness. He remained full of energy and, based on what he could see, Katrina, the Invincible Wizard, heading the ritual and the other six Supreme Wizards were also looking as fresh as the time the ritual started.

He also avoided feeling bored since he spent the time acting as the source of aura by entering his Diablo II system creating enchanted item and practicing his spells and if got tired of doing that, he would then exit out of the world of Sanctuary, open his system browser and surf the internet.

The Internet provided him with unlimited ways to entertain himself. He could read a novel, watch shows, and even play browser games, but to be honest, Anton couldn’t truly concentrate on entertaining himself. The worry that pervaded his mind never left. He couldn’t ask anyone about their pursuers because he didn’t want to bother anyone, but he decided that he would ask the wizard that cast spells on them to make them full and who was also the one casting spells on the table mana pawer bank to make sure that the room was full of tamed mana.

Anton understood that the ship’s Invincible Wizard was powerful and the ritual that was keeping the ship running fast was ongoing non-stop, but he could not forget the fact that the number of ships chasing them was two hundred and that meant that there could be many powerful wizards in those ships that was as powerful as the lady Katrina.

He could not even believe that the Undead Coalition chose to chase their ship with that kind of number of pursuers, and he remembered that there was supposed to be an artifact that was powerful enough to harm an Invincible Wizard.

Anton couldn’t believe that an artifact like that was valuable enough to warrant the Coalition allocating such resources to pursue them at that moment. Moreover, he suspected that other unknown factors were motivating the undead to chase them.

That meant the Undead Coalition would likely not stop until they were either captured or destroyed, no matter the cost. Given that the undead were known to have unlimited stamina, Anton doubted they could outrun their pursuers.

When morning arrived, the shift change for the Supreme Wizards arrived, and they seamlessly replaced their counterpart in the ritual. The Supreme Wizard, who cast the spell to make them feel satiated, also came in, and the mage also made sure that the table mana power bank was full of mana.

Anton took the chance to ask the wizard softly regarding the status of their pursuer, and the man admitted to him that the undead were still in pursuit, but that was the only information the wizard shared to him.

“Can I talk to my father and my sister? The spell that I’m using to help the wizards regenerate their mana has a wide range, so I can meet them outside the ritual room,” Anton asked Supreme Atrosnu.

Atrosnu asked the range of his aura, and the Supreme Wizard looked highly impressed when Anton provided the number.

“I’ll get you during lunch and allow you to meet them outside. By the way, this letter was given to me by Miss Antonia. She told me that you have to read it when you’re alone,” Atrosnu said then handed him a letter inside an envelope.

After that, Atrosnu left, and the ritual stabilized again. Anton suddenly thought of the fact that he actually didn’t know the way they were going so he retrieved the compass that was buried deep in his inventory. He remembered purchasing it in one of the cities that they passed through in Rendindura and when he checked it, it showed him that the Amelia was going to the west then he stored the compass into his inventory.

Anton was curious about the letter that Antonia sent him using a Supreme Wizard, but he followed her instruction of reading it when he was alone. Then he remembered that he had a cheat that would allow him to do it, so he entered his Diablo II system and retrieved the letter that Antonia sent and read it.

Anton,

The Invincible Wizard Lady Katrinia plans to capture you and your family after this ordeal is over. She sent a message to Supreme Numinor regarding this plan. She wanted to study your bloodline spells since the advantage that it was providing other wizards, including Invincible Wizards like her, was too great to ignore, and according to the Supreme Wizard Numinor, as long as they retrieve the necessary knowledge, she doesn’t care what happens to you or your family. This is the only assistance I can give you. I’m truly sorry.

Your Friend.

Anton saw that Antonia didn’t even write her name. he was also a little grateful that Numinor was fond of him enough to give the warning to Antonia to give to him. He felt sad and angry that even with all the help he provided the ship, that woman Katrina was still planning to harm him and his family just for a chance to get the supposed spell that was assisting them right now. He knew that with the power Katrina was able to wield, it would be easy for her to capture him and his family, and if they got a hold of his father and sister, he would become very obedient.

The main problem was, Katrina didn’t give him a way to survive. According to the letter, Katrina didn’t care if he didn’t remain alive during their planned spell retrieval. That meant that he would need to start planning for a way for him and his family to escape, which was going to be a major undertaking.

Anton was also angry at himself for taking for granted the greed that his fellow humans could acquire regarding his power. He thought that with the power that the Supreme Wizards and above could wield, his auras and enchanted items would not be very important in their eyes. He felt extremely foolish because of that, and he knew that from then on, he and his family would truly need to lie low if they were to survive this ordeal.

He might be correct that the movies and shows would not enter the eyes of powerful wizards because they were merely “forms of entertainment” that mundanes could enjoy but his aura abilities and the fact that he could create an enchanted item that would allow an organization to fill a place with tamed mana was too great to be ignored. He knew that now, which was too late.

If they manage to escape, they would not be able to live as a wealthy family anymore, relying on the cinema since a large number of people knew that the movies came from him, and if Katrina truly did not want to let him go, the only thing he could do was to hide. At least, until he was powerful enough to fight it out with an Invincible Wizard.

While Anton was outside the Rogue Encampment, he vented out until he could calm himself enough to present a normal behavior in front of the wizards in the ritual room then he exited his Diablo II system.

He was glad that he would meet with his father and sister that afternoon because he felt that their presence was the only thing that could truly calm him.

It was pathetic that not only did Anton have to run from the Undead Coalition, but now he also had to think of a way to escape the clutches of an Invincible Wizard.
