My Favorite Game Followed Me! -
Chapter 435
There were about thirteen people inside the conference room, and Anton assumed that the only lady sitting at the head of the table was the Invincible Wizard, and the other twelve were all Supreme Wizards.
They were all deeply discussing how to utilize some sort of spell, and Anton didn’t understand any of it. That was also the reason why even if the magic item that showed the ranking of a mage showed that Anton’s rank reached the Supreme Wizard rank, he wouldn’t be able to believe it. He didn’t even believe that he was an archmage, or even if he was, he was so specialized that mages should just think of him as a mage thug since his specialty was to mow down enemies using his Diablo II spells.
The information that was coming out of the mouth of the wizards was so obscure to Anton that he felt like an elementary student stumbling into the discussion of graduate students discussing advanced physics or chemistry.
He was waiting for at least five minutes before they noticed him.
“Who is this?” The lady suddenly said when she noticed him waiting by the door.
When the other Supreme Wizards turned their gaze to where the lady was gesturing, they saw him by the door, and Numinor was the one who answered her.
“This is the Archmage Sunder, who has a bloodline spell that will allow a mage to regenerate mana and memorize spells at an unimaginable rate.”
“The discussion is over. The undead is catching up to us. Let’s start the plan. Mr. Sunder, my name is Katrina, the Invincible wizard stationed here at the Amelia. Please follow me.” The lady wizard named Katrina started walking without looking back, and Anton followed her.
On the way, Katrina said to Anton that she and six Supreme Wizards would perform a ritual that would allow the Amelia to be enveloped in a magical aura that would allow the ship to travel at an enormous speed. The ritual would be non-stop, and they would only stop once they were safely away from the undead ships. After a few hours, the six Supreme Wizards would be replaced by the rested six other Supreme Wizards, and the only one who wouldn’t have any rest was Katrina since the spell ritual originated from her and him since Anton’s special “Bloodline Mana Regeneration” magic would greatly assist the wizards in making sure that the ritual would continue without interruption due to mana exhaustion.
Katrina led him into a room that was located near the ship’s bridge, where the ship’s officers conducted their business in making sure that the ship would run smoothly. Katrina then told Anton to start his spell that would allow a fellow wizard to regenerate their mana, so he added the Invincible Wizard and the first batch of Supreme Wizards who would conduct the ritual.
The painful part about the ritual was that Katrina and the other six mages would need to focus all their attention and energy on the ritual, and that meant that they wouldn’t be able to do anything else, even a simple thing, as talking to anyone else.
Anton added Katrina and six mages in the room to his party system and activated all of his auras. The mages were surprised since the moment he activated the auras, everyone felt the effect. Katrina was even looking at him with her startlingly vivid green eyes filled with curiosity.
Katrina then started casting the ritual, and beautiful, colorful magic started coming out from her hands as if she was weaving the very energy of the universe. The gorgeous mana then spread towards the six other mages, and all of them began joining the weaving of the magic, and Anton was fascinated by how skillful all of them were, regardless of how they looked. Some were fat, and some were thin, but all their hands weaved the gorgeous energies expertly.
The moment the ritual was stable, Katrina opened her eyes and stared at Anton. More than likely, she was now feeling the full effect of the Meditation Aura. The good thing was they wouldn’t even get tired because of Anton’s Vigor Aura, and they would remain healthy because of the Prayer Aura.
Anton noticed that all of the wizards were now looking at him with shocked looks on their faces. He tried to ignore everyone’s reaction and studied the mana structure floating in the air. The room they were staying at had a huge window overlooking outside, and he saw that the ship was now enveloped in some kind of magic shield, and he assumed that the Amelia was now moving extremely fast.
He hoped that it was fast enough that they could outran the two hundred ships from the Undead Coalition that were pursuing them. To be honest, before witnessing the ritual, Anton thought that there would come a time when he would have to make sure that he and his family would survive the destruction of the ship by using the enchanted floating boards that he created.
The ritual started late at night, but because of the Vigor Aura, Anton was still energetic, and he hoped that Katrina and the other mages were also benefiting from it, but everyone looked like they were still full of energy instead of exhausted.
During the night that the Invincible Wizard and the six Supreme Wizards were conducting the ritual, Anton had nothing to do since his job there was just to be an aura. He also noticed the enchanted coffee table mana power bank that he had made was also placed there, filling the room with tamed mana.
Anton read some web novels online to avoid getting bored, since at least with reading, his attention could easily come back from his imagination. He did close his eyes so anyone looking at him would assume that being an aura that provided increased mana regeneration to everyone also needed his concentration.
When the sun rose, seven Supreme Wizards entered the room, and Katrina started weaving her magic again. Anton assumed that it was time for the Supreme Wizards to change shift. The six newly arrived Supreme Wizards replaced the old ones but and Katrina incorporated the magic casting that she was doing to separate the previous mages and incorporate the newly arrived ones.
One of the mages who wasn’t part of the shift change cast some sort of magic on everyone, and Anton suddenly felt satiated. That meant that there was no need for him or anyone else, for that matter, to eat food during the ritual. After the spell was cast, the Supreme Wizard commented the wizards that was just done with their shift looking as fresh as if they had just rested and one of them mentioned that Anton’s magic was the reason for that and they thought that his bloodline spell was truly miraculous and that they would need to spend some time to study it since it was truly helpful.
When the ritual became stable again and the wizards who were not part of the ritual left, Anton decided to check if he could create some magic items while he was staying there in the room functioning as an aura. The good thing about his Diablo II system, if he entered the world of Sanctuary, his real body would remain in the real world, so all the things he could do, like creating enchanted items, would be done in that world. Once he stored those completed items in his inventory, he could bring them back in the real world without any problem since the base material that he used to create them came from the real world.
The only thing that he could not bring out was the actual items from the World of Sanctuary, which was a pity since the potions and the powerful items would truly help his family.
