Anton attended his magic classes with his five classmates the day after his birthday. While listening to the teacher’s lectures, he was so glad of his decision to improve his knowledge about the magic of this world especially if he really needed to start learning it to increase his power if his Diablo II system couldn’t provide improvement anymore.

He was also glad that he decided to start with the basics since he wanted to have a solid foundation and even if he was starting from scratch regarding this world’s standard magic, he still had the power of an archmage because of his system.

Not only that, because of the power that his Diablo II system brought him, it also increased his capabilities when it came to the magic of this world. According to the magic ranking system, he was an archmage which meant that he could memorize archmage-level spells and below of the standard magic of this world.

Adding the benefits of his Paladin’s Meditation Aura and a surrounding filled with mana because of one of his enchanted items, he could memorize spells at an extremely rapid pace but to be honest, Anton still preferred his Diablo II system.

One of the best things that his Diablo II system provided him was that he could select one stat per character to reflect in real life. Since there were only four stats which were Strength, Vitality, Dexterity, and Energy, that meant that he could select one of his six characters in Diablo II that he already maximized for its stat to reflect in real life and since he was done with the character, for example, the Necromancer, he could put all the stat points in energy and kept the others at minimum and allow the Necromancer’s massive Energy stat to reflect his actual stat in real life.

The problem with that was, that the Necromancer would not be able to wear most of his equipment that has other stat requirements other than Energy but the fact that he had a dedicated gear slots for his real body came into play.

Anton could then select a second character like his Assassin to concentrate its stat points to Dexterity and keep the other stats at the minimum and then have the Assassin’s Dexterity reflect on his real body.

The same with his Strength and Vitality stats. What it all meant was that he had an ungodly amount of Strength, Vitality, Dexterity, and Energy stats which made his body extremely powerful, meaning his body’s defenses, life, and mana.

It also meant that he could wear any gear that he wanted so the moment he reached the maximum level of all of his characters in Diablo II, he would then start hunting for the best gear with the best option and would mix and match them so he would become extremely powerful in real life.

Regarding which item would best help him in real life, he didn’t even have to wonder because the Diablo netizens would assist him greatly by simply creating a thread or a forum with that topic as part of theory-crafting for a supposed fan fiction novel.

Because of the thought that he could ask netizens for ideas, he then thought why not expand the assistance that the Diablo netizens could help him with? They could assist him in theory-crafting about combining Diablo II spells or creating enchanted items. Anton realized then that maybe one of the best advantages that his Diablo II system could provide him was the collective knowledge of gamers of Earth in helping him increase his power.

So after lunch with his classmates, Anton hurried home with the thought of creating those threads and topics so he could begin to farm ideas from gamers of Earth. He truly wanted to focus on his system instead of the magic of this world and that was the main reason why he was thinking of out-of-the-box ideas that his system could help him increase his power. That was also the reason why, even though he decided to memorize a single spell of the standard magic of this world at least once a week, he hadn’t been doing that simply because he kept forgetting and because he was not prioritizing it.

When he arrived at the suite, Anton rushed to his room but Anna stopped him.

“What’s the rush?”

“I might encounter a breakthrough in my magic.”

“Can you wait a bit? Frederick wants to talk to you. He just stepped out for a couple of minutes and should be back soon.”

Anton nodded and sat on the sofa in the living room waiting for Frederick to arrive. He could have entered his room but once he entered his Diablo II system, he did not want to be disturbed so he simply waited for the mage to arrive.

After a few minutes, Frederick entered the suite.

“You wanted to talk to me?” Anton asked the mage.

Frederick joined him on the couch.

“Our spell practice instructors wanted to speak with you regarding the mana power banks. It seems like the small table mana power bank spread to the wizards higher up on the ship and they wanted to purchase one from you to place in the room where mages practice their spells.”

Anton knew that it was inevitable and he already spoke with his father about it. They had decided that they would sell the mana power banks but only to those with authority and those who could afford it.

“Sure as long as there’s a written request from one of the Supreme Wizards and they’re willing to pay the same price as the Supreme Wizards paid for the table. You also have to tell them that it would take me four weeks to craft one of them.”

Anton could create one in less than an hour but he did not want to be treated as a mana power bank factory worker so he wanted to instill the idea to those who might be interested that a single large mana power bank with the option to release tamed mana in the environment would take a lot of time to craft.

“Why the written request?”

“Father and I decided that only those with authority and coins could purchase large mana power banks.”

“I understand. I’ll tell the instructor your requirements.”

After that, Frederick joined the others in practicing his magic by memorizing his spells and casting the memorized spells on the mirror mana power bank. Even though he recently reached the wizard’s third rank, it appeared that Frederick did not want to rest on his laurels and just like Anton and the other mages in the family, wanted to spend the time on the Amelia to increase their power as soon as possible.

Anton entered his room and opened his browser. Posing as a fan-fiction author, he created several topics on several forums regarding the theory-crafting of a wizard which had the same system as in Diablo II but the power to combine spells. He wanted to get some ideas from the netizens which combinations would be best and it’s not limited to the spells of a specific character but all the Diablo II spells.

Not only that, he also created several topics on the best enchanted items one could create using the spells in Diablo II.

The best thing about the Earth’s netizens was, they were extremely intelligent and a lot of them would base the crafted theory based on Physics, Chemistry, and Math, and in Anton’s experience, theories based on logic were the most effective.
