This novel is honestly one of the best novels I've read id put it at the level of orv ss lotm
The novel starts off as kinda a basic martial arts novel in a way but the story puts in so many plot points that will only be resolved in the future that it makes the world building massive.
Something you should know our MC is not talented at 1st he isnt even like a super genius or anything he really is just an average guy in a way besides for one key aspect that really saves his charcter in the beginning he has the most will power out of like any character I've read before.
The early cycles are all pretty repetitive in a formatting way but each are written in a way so it feels fresh like we have try hard get stuck then when on verge of death make a breakthrough.
The chapters are long so even tho its only 650 chapters right now it will take you longer to read then some 1500 length cultivation novel.
All that I've really talking about was the beginning of the novel which I think still really good but is the weakest part of the novel. When he starts cultivation the world building opens up and the world truly becomes massive in a way.
For the MC somethings you should know he isn't your evil MC who is going to do anything to get to the top he is someone who truly cares about people a lot of times in cultivation novel the "good" guy is hypothetical but I never felt that way about our MC he truly feels like he takes a realistic approach to all his relationships and his actions make sense with how his charcter is portrayed.
Some basic things just with stereotypes of the genre a lot of the philosophy talked about it Buddhist in nature with some others sprinkled around, he doesnt power up by eating some pill and getting the next rank, every time he ranks up its trough his own hard work and because he is so talentless he works hard. It's a Korean novel not a Chinese and it definitely feels like more of that there's not face slapping or anything like that if someone wrong him its because they truly did something despicable.
That's my non-spoiler review read it you will enjoy it even if your not a cultivation fan its still really good 👍
The lore and the plot are revealed in such a way that it still gives you food for thought while the mystery and the thrill is maintained. And the side charcaters... most novels just introduce some character and later forget about them, but here? each character has an lasting impact and depth. Also, the author put A LOT of effort into making the power system actually meaningful and not just some brain-rot like other cultivation novels. I could go on and on about like this and the list never ends.heavily suggest reading this novel. ITS PEAK 🔥🔥
d*mn the Mainlead of this novel is so cringe and pathetic that is sucks. He is the total opposite of Fang Yuan and even more pathetic than early regressions Subaru(no hate to subaru but in the early return to death, he was somewhat pathetic). The novel mainly focus on martial arts instead of cultivation. The chapters are so d*mn long and until I think chaptere 60, he is not even a cultivator but instead trying to reach the peak of martial arts so that he can become powerful enough to start cultivating. Idk how is he even a cultivator. Korean author just can't write a good mainlead(except Kim Dokja) and a ruthless mc. Idk why is a Korean author even trying to write a cultivation novel when he can't make mc cold and smart(mc is that one dumb person you find in McDonald's). Overall rating 2.5/10 from me and that only because it is a cultivation novel and therefore has some potential.
The urge to drop it down to 4.9 is looking me in the eye but I must resist. Anyways, I really love the cultivation, the world, building, characters like Kim young hoon and seo hweol all of them except the female ones (the author struggles in writing them alot but they are not really terrible, but compared to the male characters, they are definitely lacking substance, although best girl Gyu Ryeon is an exception she can step on me anytime). I also love the abilities especially heart path, the heaven collapsing esteemed ones signature move is badass but one thing which I hate is the mc's morality as it's annoying asf so much that I will drop a star cuz of it but besides that the mc is pretty well written. So overall you should give a chance and keep in mind not to be scared by the chapter length, you must perservere for at least 36 chapters as it gets really good after that and contain less info dump.
You clap for Peak Fiction.

Do you see it, oh heavens?
This lowly being.
Has witnessed pure peak…
Okay so fr tho, this novel is just unbelievably well crafted. The tragedy of the time loop and at the same time, the MC utilizing this unlimited time to try over and over to accomplish his goals even with his poor talent is just amazing to read. For the record, some people are turned off because the MC is VERY good - as in he will not do anything he considers evil no matter what, which compared to some other cultivation novels (cough cough RI) is jarring to readers. But I think the story is powerful either way, and if you don't read it just because of that, you're lame.
Let me be honest with you, this was very good in the beginning but after he ascended to next realm(or planet?) I did not like it that much, I am currently at the end of arc where mc acts like he works for seo Hweol .i will continue reading it and change the rating if it gets better.
It's just so peak. I love that the MC is quite human through the book even once he reaches immortality, 10/10 worldbuilding, it has insane foreshadowing(the sun and the moon if yk what im saying), for me it is in my top 5/6 novels Ive read so far
It's just peak, Seo is the goat, side characters are fleshed out really well, the emotional scenes hit like a d*mn truck, this is one of the best webnovels out there, and I really need to get back to it soon.
